Game: Unreal Tournament
Programs Used: Milkshape 3D, UnrealEd 2.0 & 3.0, Adobe PhotoDeluxe with .dds plug-in, Ulead PhotoImpact XL.
.PSK files were taken from UPaint mesh folder.
Information: UT2004 bots for Unreal Tournament. All 5 models have all 4 team colors. I decided to make
these after I got ahold of the XBots mutator that allowed the UT bot roster to be expanded.
And because Unreal Tournament is still the best game of the Unreal series, but I did like
these particular UT2004 models, and porting them to UT had the virtue of never having
tried by anyone. Until now.
The model animations aren't perfect, sometimes the Juggernaut males will stand awkwardly
and their feet sink into the floor a bit, but overall they're pretty good and their Voices
and Hit sounds have been ported over and configured and are part of this installation package.
INSTALLATION: Simply unzip the 2k4bots4ut.zip file to your UnrealTournament directory and all the files
should go to their correct directories. These bots default voices and hit sounds have already
been configured. All you have to do is assign each model the appropriate name. In the event
that you have never played UT2003 or UT2004 here's a list of the model classes with the
correct UT2004 bot name to the right of it.
Juggernaut Male---Gorge
JuggB Male---Cannonball
JuggC Male---Arclite
NightB Male---Mr. Crow
Nightmare Male---Harlequin
Additional Notes: You can download the XBots Mutator, if you don't have it already at:
Thegamebox.net
Just go to the Mutators folder and download the xbots053.zip file.
Also, I recommend downloading the UMOD Extractor V2.0, in the event
that the xbots053 UMOD won't install. This will allow you to extract
files from the UMOD and install them into your UnrealTournament\System directory
manually. You can get it at: Acordero.org.
PLEASE NOTE that regarding the XBots mutator that when you first run it,
it will select the bot difficulty level that you have set at that time.
If you ever want to change the bot difficulty level used by the Xbots
Mutator, you must do it manually as there is no option in the UT GUI
screen to do it. Here's how it's done:
Browse to your UnrealTournament\System directory and look for a notepad
file named XBotsRandom.ini and open it up and then scroll down to the line
that says:
Difficulty=
Then give it a number 0 through 7
0 = Novice
1 = Average
2 = Experienced
3 = Skilled
4 = Adept
5 = Masterful
6 = Inhuman
7 = Godlike
You can configure your bot rosters from the UT GUI screen by clicking on
the Mods tab and selecting the XBots option from the dropdown bar. You can
configure up to 4 bot rosters, but you can only have 2 active at the most
when playing.
Pretty simple, huh? ENJOY!!!

This is a Bot-pack, not a Skin-pack.
This will install new bots and not give you skins for bots you already have.
There are also newer versions which are more complete, including the rest of the UT2004 player bots.
