Holywood FX mod For HCTM2 by FeRu
Hello guys. I have for you little add-on for HTCM2 wich give you much better experience with this awesom mod fo Call of Duty 2
It's is similar mod wich I made for previous version and it contain two files:
zzzzzz_HCTM2_Blood_Mod.iwd
zzzzzzzzz_HCTM2_FX_Mod.iwd
Instaltion:
Copy two iwd files from archive to your main folder where HCTM2 files are and thats it.
Blood mod give you bigger and better blood puffs like you see in Band of Brothers or Saving Private Ryan. Gore system in HCTM is great but I'm missing blood and dust puff when bullet hit body. I was able to add very nice gore effect imported from
BloodLust Gore Final mod and combine few Body PUFFs from other mods.
When you will see Gore Effects in action you will allways shoot enemy few extra times....Just for Fun :) Of course all gore features from Slikk1 works like before,this is simple addon for new body hit effects.
The second addon is FX mod.I think that impact FX in COD 2 are WEAK....In Call of Duty United Offensive they were much better and realistic. So I tried to make bullethit effects much better than original,and I did it. When your bullet hit in walls,woods,concrete,asphalt,sand you will see bigger dust puff with mre particles and Decals.
So when you are in the middle of intense firefight you will see very nice and realistic dust and particle dance around you. In small enviroment after 20-30 shots you can't see shit becouse dust from walls will be hang out in the air in next few seconds.
But bullet impact effects are not all changes. I also imported many other effects from Massacre Mod 10 like explosions,fire and smoke effects,for best battlefield experience.
This small addons make firefights much more visceral, scary and chaotic and similar looking to firefights in Band of Brothers or Saving Private Ryan where big puffs and debree flying around.
I guarantee that this little addon change HCTM2 gameplay DRAMATICLY....This is propably the best Battlefield Exprerience in Call of Duty 2.
I played whole game without crashes and bugs but if anyone will have some problems let me know.

The new tracer effects are not showing up for me in first nor in third person, but all of the other effects are working fine. This also happens to me when I use "Supermario's SFX Makeover". Any way I could fix that?
some effects are based and modified SuperMario SFX Makeover 2.0, that's weird thattracer effects don't work because all effects like MG tracers should work fine....
I don't see a difference?
Works well, the blood mist effects really add to the atmosphere.
