Clear Sky 1.42 (Functioning edition)
- Two versions for CoC 1.4 and 1.5 (1.4 should have the proper working stalker_nebo4.itx working correctly)
- script for [Bone Protection] - Removed and showing some temporary or complete fix for 1.4 users
- nebo_b, b2 have been removed from 1.4
- Textures for graphical Bugs: act_stalker_nebo_a_bump#.dds in 1.4 and stalker_nebo_h.bump in 1.5 removed due to reports of issues.
- Added 3 zombie models of undead clear sky soldiers: Blue camo has blood marks, redux camo has not...for now...

Clear sky pack contains models and textures from various sources and some ported from clear sky into CoC. The extent of bugs and issues has made this a massive challenge to fix
and finally get stable. Be aware before installing you my encounter bugs, script errors and potential crashes until all issues have been resolved, I am reading and showing all comments
both good or bad criticism of the clear sky redux, thank you for the community for joining in the battle to make this mod work for all.
If you are confident with a 100% workable pack with no issues or crashes, please inform me and keep me updated

Not my type. They look like "military stalker" with clear sky patches on. These textures look really cool, but they lack the original clear sky camo.
Yeah that’s understandable, personally I wanted to use the new camo however if you would like I can easily make a pack just for the blue camo as well if you want to keep the faction the same colours?
That would be great. One thing about the old models is that everyone got used to the color schemes, every faction has its unique designs that makes them easily distinguishable without having to pull out the binocs all the time.

Man before I added your 14.22 fix, the game would crash with some stalker_nebo error, and then after I added it, I just get a new crash. This is what I get.

I play 1.4.22, a lot of mods (about 70, AO, Outfit, HDPack... but the installation is stable), it occured in the small agroprom swamp right in the middle of it. First I got a nebu error, then I remembered your readme and added the DocX fix, now I get this error:

It's an issue with the text in the ini file. All you need to do is edit the "DocX fix" .ini file. Just delete the part pertaining to [bone_protection] and it should clear up any issues.

The error file is "stalker_nebo_b.ogf" I just delete it from the models folder and dont experience any more crashes from cordon and swamps.
Hiya! So I was playing the game and had a crash on something in the swamp, and it had happened before with the Clear Sky pack again. I personally really like your models, so I did nab the Error message to hopefully help to fix it, unless I'm mistaken. In any case, thanks for your work, and good luck to you!(P.S.) Realized after posting that it's been a recurring problem, apologies for essentially spamming the board. :/

TOSKA - Models (Installed this for Bandits, and overwrote other textures with the redux versions, may be the cause for all I know.)
Anyone narrowed down which model is causing the issue, and if so does the rest of the pack work with 1.4.22 if it is removed?
Found it to be "stalker_nebo_b.ogf"
Any luck getting the rest of the pack to reliably work if you remove that one?
Removing this gave me the same errors even when I kept and later removed the fix .ltx by DocX.
Maybe there are different errors? I get this one in agroprom.

I’ll work on it, so sorry for the issues. Something with the nebo4.itx and Nebo_b2 messes with 1.4.22 for some reason. I’ll have a look.

You would think worst case scenario the engine would just ignore an .ogf it didn't expect to find...but then again X-Ray engine.

Удаляю модель staler_nebob2. Прохожу и вижу бандита без текстур противогаза и штанов. Удаляю всю папку моделей бандитов и ставлю от старой версии (HD2). Всё в порядке, бандит с ванильной моделью, в плаще,противогазе и с рюкзаком. Вылета нет. Возможно эти модели используют одни и те же хар-ки костюмов, но на самом деле они должны быть разными ? Короче где то они пересекаются с ошибкой.

I delete the model staler_nebob2. I pass and see a thug without textures of gas mask and pants. Delete the entire folder of models of bandits and put on the old version (HD2). Everything is in order, a gangster with a vanilla model, in a raincoat, a gas mask and a backpack. There is no departure. Perhaps these models use the same character costumes, but in fact they should be different? In short, somewhere they intersect with an error.
I tested the new version with Last Day (which is based on 1.4.22) and had no crashes. Wonder if I just got lucky and the troublesome models just didn't spawn for me yet.
Testing it more extensively on 1.4.22 removal of both nebo_b and nebo_b2.ogf files seem to be needed to avoid a crash.
An interesting side effect of this is that if you use the original Clear Sky colors, one of the models becomes pitch black (probably referencing something from the removed models for some reason?). The Redux colors work fine.

Hey man, you gotta fix the weird bug with the blue camo variant. These are great models that fill some holes in the HD pack, and I can't wait to see what you do for the rest of the missing models, but that's a bit of a turn off lol.

Love your work Ducky, I'm using all three of your redux packs. There is just one thing, this one clear sky outfit that for some reason doesn't look right when I play with DirectX 11 enabled...

As you can see there are black spots showing up on parts of the costume.
I tried switching to directX 9 and it was ok. I also tried adjusting some of the settings with DirectX 11 but I can't seem to figure out what is causing this. I think it might have something to do with lighting but why only this particular outfit and not the rest?
Hello i got a little problem the model of the cler sky leather jacket is whole black. Is there somthing missing?

I'm using DirectX 11 (Enhaced), maximum object detail, maximum texture detail, maximum shadow quality, SSAO mode : HBAO, SSAO quality : High.
If I remove the stalker_nebo_b.ogf and stalker_nebob2.ogf file, the game running without error but some CS models textures becomes black as kushanblac1516024302 said.
Can you make the exo model look like a one with suport motors and a gas mask? Looks great but with no gas mask and exo motors its not really a exoskeleton and running with no gas mask is strange.
Just a question that I've been dying to ask: is there any special software that was used in the making of this mod to edit the .ogf files and their associated textures?
On top of that, how does one go about viewing and editing .ogf files, only to make them usable in-game?

How do you actually install this mod? I'm not sure where to put the .ogf files under "Clear Sky Models". Also, I'm not sure if I'm supposed to pick the original textures, the redux, or both.
Edit: BTW I'm playing on the Dead Air mod, but I know its supposed to work. I just gotta find where the clear sky models are. I have other character model/texture mods installed that change other factions, but they come with their config folder.
The "Clear Sky Models" folder is intended for modders. There's no need to copy it in the game folder.

I may have just found the reason why, if using the original camo textures, the jackets turn to a blank black texture as mentioned before, and the reason why, using the redux camos the jacket texture shows up, and works as intended (but as HudsonsSkull mentioned, there are odd black spots around it).
In regards to using the original camos, the 'act_stalker_nebo_a.dds' file contains a blank texture, (the diffuse textures don't show up) which therefore is the reason why Clear Sky jackets appear black. I found a solution to this by deleting this file, which reverts back to the default one.
In regards to the black spots when using the redux camos, it may be because the normal maps for the 'act_stalker_nebo_a.dds' (specifically, the 'act_stalker_nebo_a_bump#.dds' file) file also contain a blank texture. I believe the solution to this is the same as
I stated before.
Similarity, 'act_stalker_nebo_h.dds' and its normal maps suffer from the same issue as well.
Interesting, I will be looking into this, which file on the redux is bothersome? the nebo_h.dds shows up fine my end, ive noticed a lot of the textures and models from Clear sky in CoC and mine are ported from clear sky game itself. Directx 9 shows minimal graphical issues however directx10-11 seems to show faults.
Ah sorry I've been off STALKER for awhile so I can't exactly remember now which nebo_h file it was from so sorry.
But also I mostly played in DX11, never switched to DX9 so I'm not so sure about the textures appearing then.
