In this version 1.3.2 i've made some other minor adjustments with savegame triggers and and other generic terrain editing.:)If your running windows 10 you'll need to disable the compatibility engine and it's assistant and it'll run perfectly like it did on 7.I noticed there are some issues in windows 10 with textures on hills set at very high settings at the start,so i started with medium texture settings after intro cutscene until entering the 1st big cave that exits at waterfalls, then back to very high textures. Also on rare occasions you might find that some vegetation hasn't loaded properly on the hills in prt2 i think it maybe because i forgot to generate the terrain after i edited it causes this,so i've done so in this upload.:)

Anyone completed it yet any opinions?
Despite that this map has missions, basicly the same applies here as
i wrote for Nehaa. Probably it would be wise to split the map into
smaller parts and focus more on gameplay.
Thanks again Friedell for your constructive feedback it's appreciated very much Hope you had some fun at least. Can you tell me how long it took you to complete.I haven't edited it for a while and may take half the KPA out the final jungle where you have to rescue Morrison this will sort the framerates here.
i just started playing, looks really professional, its truly next gen. But i play on an 3070 and my framerate is way off, i think its because of the large scale of the map. I will download this file now and see if the framerate is better.
This map drowns a bit in its own gigantism and feels kinda unfinished and unoptimised, despite its version number. It definitly lacks in action and
challenge and pretty quickly developes into a walking simulator.
On the other side it offers a well crafted large landscape and shows on what scale a solid running 64Bit Crysis map wouldve been. Sadly Crytek stopped
patching and updating pretty early for this game and on top effectivly killed
the modding scene around it with "community management" in a truly machiavellish
move.
Cheers for for the constructive critique this was my second map after Crysis Nehaa which had no cutscene, story or objectives.I don't no why the objectives stopped triggering which detracts from the point to playing, however still work in editor the only updates possible are animated clouds in part 2 change a couple waterfall particle effects.I started a third map earlier in the year got a fair amount done haven't touched it for couple months so much work and seeing objectives break puts me right off
yes i agree with oldmerc your map is very well designed but its very bad optimized. i dont know if its possible to optimize a map for this kind of scale in de map editor i imagine that if this was Crytek releasing this map maybe they would cut it in some different parts (so levels). but maybe im completely wrong i write you just my thoughts.
i dont know if this is possible but maybe you can set up some sort of fog of war haha or maybe a strong depth of field maybe if the details in the distance are not so present on the screen that the performance go's up (duuhhh). wel i think you get what i mean:D
Thanks for your input appreciated very much, being a larger map with the amount within becomes so much work for a single person.I enjoyed learning how to use track editing and sculpting this massive world and seemingly did what i could. As for splitting into levels you have to change to prt2,however clueless it may seem i was oblivious and soldiered on,making sure you have things to blow up,sabbotage, and people to rescue. It seems the second prt runs smoother. Also i didn't like black borders round cutscenes so kept them fullscreen, just type into console to hide hud, ammo etc if you so wish as for performance it is what it is.
