A collection of fancy new custom color palettes by yours truly, plus bonus folders full of every other color palette you could ever want. These change the way the coloration of Doom looks, thus altering the atmosphere, temperature, and vibe of the game.
This is a collection of replacement color palettes and color maps for Doom, Doom 2, and Final Doom.
Each wad file is compatible with any version of Doom ever made as long as it can accept the loading of additional wad files on startup.
*GZDoom recommendation: If you are using hardware rendering, then going to "Display Options", "Hardware Renderer", "Post-Processing", "Tone Map", and setting it to "Palette" will help ensure that you get the most out of these.
Doom 364 Plus - 50/50 mix of Doom 3 and Doom 64 colors, with the light/gradient mappings of PalPlus
Foggy Night - Makes the game feel like you're lost in London at 4 AM in the 1920s.
Horror Blue - Bleached and cold lights, shadowy and creepy darks
John Wick - Cyberpunk vibes meet jazzy cool tones (additional credit to Sean Lawless / InAvision Media for development of J.Wick LUT utilized in the creation of this palette)
Macabre - Inspired by H.R Giger
NeoBrooklyn - Futuristic urban... high fashion?
Scifi - Think more Star Trek TOS as opposed to TNG
Sin City - Everything black and white except for reds
Synthwave - Out Run the demons on your Laser Wolf!
Along with the ones listed above, you'll also find bonus folders full of community palettes like Kal's Pal (for that Duke Nukem in the hot summer sun sort of feel) or Arcadia (for that BioShock underwater feel), palettes based on photo filter, and mainstays like the Doom 64 palette and Doom 3 palette. Enjoy!
