Firstly thank you for taking the time to download this simple modification which changes the lower limit of item condition which traders will buy from you.
This acts simply by reducing the minimum quality requirement for selling items on all traders across the Zone to 40% rather than the base 70% in the game. The prices should scale according to condition.
INSTALL:
NOTE: BACKUP YOUR OWN FILES BEFORE ADDING OR MODIFYING ANY MOD. OVERWRITE YOUR OWN FILES AS YOUR OWN RISK.
- FIRST install the base game, then your desired mods with their relevant compatibility patches.
- If using just a single mod open the single folder. If a combination open the combo folder.
- Find your applicable mod combination to what you have installed.
- Extract the gamedata folder inside the correct mod file to your S.T.A.L.K.E.R Call of Chernobyl folder location as to merge it with the gamedata file you already have.
- Overwrite any of the files it conflicts with/Finds other versions of.
- Play and earn them Rubles.
COMPATIBILITY
This mod works with the base game PLUS having the matching combination of files with the folder you choose (With Compatibility patch installed). It is highly unlikely to work with any other variations of game.

A Yes, or it worked for me at least.

A That is not the goal of this mod so does not change the selling restrictions to traders.
Q Can you change how much the weapons are worth, I am drowning in rubles.
A Nope, the game scales worth to quality anyway, this mod just lowers the hard line limit on sale restrictions.
Q Is this compatible with "XYZ" Mod?
A Unless explicitly listed always assume no. One example is currently no OWR. Generally if it does not modify or touch the trade config file it should be fine.
Q Anything it is specifically compatible with not in this mod as a patch?
A It works with Full Outfit Addon mod. That's a pretty cool mod. Also with Warfare. Another pretty damn good mod (expect lots of rubles if used together, all the weapons to salvage).
Nice, what about ItemSOUP?
I imagine it is not compatible at this time due to editing the trader file. I can have a look into it though.
UPDATE: I have not personally used ItemSOUP but have replicated a version of this mod for it and updated the file. If someone could download and test this for me to confirm if it is working, I would be grateful.
Edit: That is for the base file in the mod. If someone could confirm whether this is some kind of "hardcore" optional files for me I could make changes to that too. I cannot make heads or tails of the readme contained in that mod.
The font doesnt make any sense: juufit, dddfn, skdt.
If you mean the three phrases under the main title. It says "Outfit Addon, SKAT, STCoP" in a retro sheek Russian style font that I took an instant shine to. :-)

This mod works off the same premise with a 40% durabilty lower limit rather than allowing completely broken weapon sales but is new (as in 2 days old) so works with the newest (dated at: 10.02.17) versions of the listed compatible mods. This does not currently work with OWR (If I get requests for that I can look into it) to my knowledge as I've never used OWR personally. This mod if used would replace the linked one above.

Just to clarify - are you planning to make compatibility with Arsenal Overhaul, I know it isn't at the moment.

UPDATE: A new .rar had been added with updated readme, better lay out for the 15 separate variations and hopefully compatibility with Arsenal Overhaul 3.1 plus any of the combo patches (Like Arsenal Overhaul and Outfit Addon or Arsenal Overhaul, Outfit Addon and SKAT 9M).
I am unable to test the AO version as I do not have the mod installed, if you could give this a go and let me know if it works I would be grateful. Thank you.
Mate really usefull mod but I noticed a problem...many of the items sold by traders previously I installed the mod are no longer available, thus I believe your mod is not really compatible with AO3 since adding it removes many features of the AO3 mod. Could you find a way to fix this cause your mod is really usefull but it removing some of the AO3 necessary features is not really convinient.
Thank you for the feedback as the AO compatibility is yet untested, are you using just Arsenal Overhaul on its own or one of the combination mods? If so which ones and hopefully this will help me narrow down the culprit file. Also I imagine it is just certain items missing from Trader inventory correct? If so do you have an example of this items? Thank you.
The Outfit Addon is updated to 1.4.6.7, this should be updated as well.

where is the mod/file for the 40% weapon buying for traders? only seeing all the other mods?
Depending on your mod choices just copy the contents of the related one over. For example if you're using Outfit Add-on and none of the other listed mods just copy the game data folder located inside the Outfit Add-on folder.
