They are able to follow you almost everywhere, they can teleport next to you if you go too far or go through an obstacle that they can't cross.
They won't block your movement (unless if they are in combat) and will never cause friendly fire.
If you press use on them, you can order them to stand still.
You can either summon these companions with the console, or find a Teleport Beacon that replaces the Invisibility Spheres that can be used to spawn these companions. (make sure you have binded keys for selecting and using inventory items on your configs)
You can run it with any gameplay mods you want as long as this file is placed over everything else.
Running this with Brutal Doom will give the bots the ability to recognize big threats such as Cyberdemons, Masterminds, and Barons of Hell, and never get close to them.
The error messages that shows up on loading up are just some compatibility stuff with Brutal Doom and mean no harm.
The summon commands are the following:
Summon FriendMarine1 - Summons a regular Doom Marine.
Summon FriendMarine2 - Summons an unturned Zombieman.
Summon FriendMarine3 - Summons a female Doom Marine.
Summon FriendMarine4 - Summons an unturned Shotgunguy.
Summon FriendMarine5 - Summons an unturned Chaingunguy.
Summon Sentrybot - Summons a Sentry Bot like the one in Doom 3 with dual plasma guns.
Summon FriendDog - Summons a German Shepherd (similar to the MBF Dog)
Easter Eggs: (these can't be regularly summoned by the teleport beacons and can only be summoned with console commands)
Summon FriendDaisy - Summons Daisy (The Rabbit that is shown dead on a stake at the end of Doom 1)
Summon FriendHissy - Summons a baby cacodemon.
I will further edit this mod on the future, adding more companions and improving their functionality.
You can edit these companions to include in your mod if you wish.

I've run a couple 32-map campaigns with these and I really enjoy them. I did slightly buff their health and damage to fit my gameplay mods, but otherwise they're excellent.
Would it be possible to make an update that they would follow me to the next level after reaching the exit?
I'd really enjoy the persistent element if I could try to adventure with these buddies from MAP01 all the way to MAP30. (provided I keep them alive all that time)
Could you please share those buffs?
I ask because I haven't yet figured out how.

If you wish to further edit them, I did it this way:
1. Open the pk3 file with IZArc or similar.
2. Right-click on the "decorate" named files and use Open with Notepad.
3. Make changes that make most sense (reference the zdoom wiki when needed, its got all the info you need).
4. Save the file, exit and back in IZArc, it will ask to confirm the changes to the file, so say "yes".

I just downloaded the file from that tinyupload link and it still works fine.
There is a .pk3 file that is the actual mod. Try redownloading.

games with npc companions make me happy. its a special bond
I'm having a little issue. They attempt to shoot me at random intervals when there's nothing to shoot at.
Do you know what command have I to write on console to get de Ally spawners??
I know I can enter everytime in the console and write "Summon FriendMarine1" etc, vut what I want are the Spawners in the inventory and then use them but the only way I can egt them is using "give all" in the console and I don´t want all, I only want the spawners.
Anybody can help me?

It has less variation then Brother In Arms mode.And finding summon radio is almost impossible.you have to cheat all the time.
