This mod edits the helmet textures so that they are all universal and the same (in other words, not dependent on what helmet you wear). I replaced all of them with the "hardhat" helmet texture (sample pictures below). I did this because I didn't like the color and texture of the lenses that your character would look out of when wearing a helmet. A lot of them just washed out the color and added rough textures which broke a lot of immersion for me. But the hardhat helmet had a nice balance of you feeling like you are wearing a mask and not having the actual colors and feel of the environment completely removed, so I selected that one to replace the other ones with. Don't worry, there is still the broken helmet effect when it gets damaged.
Sounds like a good addition, I personally do not like the fact that the original helmet HUD removed a lot of color from the game. I would like to see comparison pictures.
