Mouse Inversion

I invert only with controller pads but not with a mouse.

Of the twelve people that voted for keyboard only, how many actually only use the keyboard?

Inverted in everything (cs,css etc) except guildwars.

I play inverted, the only reason being is that was the default in Duke Nukem 3D - and you couldn't change it. (Duke 3D was the first game to use the mouse to look up and down, and hence was the first FPS game i played). Now in FPS's it's always a hassle to go into every game's options to reset it to the old default. :S

P.S. Also, the so-called "Inverted" mouse also reminds me of flying a plane :)

yeah, a lot of people do inverted controllers. think of the joystick as someone's head. you pull up (or toward self) or push down (away from self)
with mouse, it is different. it moves over a flat surface. personally i use default but since it is a flat surface, and not rotating a joystick, it all depends on the user. hope that solves the mystery :)

i use inverted when playing flight sims, normal for everything else

Yeah, I know. Some times when I go to a LanHouse and the mouse is inverted, god damn I want to punch the last guy that on it.

but I switch my LMB and RMB because my index finger on my left hand is quicker than my middle one ;)

I really hate games that have invert mouse missing. I refuse to play them more than once...

inverted.. because im just used too it from duke 3d back in the day :) .. it was on when i first played fps so i left it on allways :O

Default for me...its what I've always used.

console FPS i usually have it inverted, somehow feels better with the joysticks. PC is Regular, unless its flying stuff... so i guess im just normal...

As this is about the mouse, I voted default. On a console I'm an inverted guy ;)

Inverted all the way. If an FPS doesn't have the option to invert the mouse, I'm usually thrown completely off.

Thankfully most developers think of things like that.
