Me 11. Problem is, I see bargains on Steam and GOG which part me with my money simply because it's so easy to click that buy button, then I often don't even install the game!
I purchase my games at the store. Specificaly Steam and valve games. They install alot faster if you have the disk, rather than downloading it off the web
Box and manual
1.i don't know what it is but i need a physical copy of the game to really feel that its mine and because if it isn't a steam based game i can sell it
2.im not old enough to own a credit card or debit card and my mum is paranoid that every thing you buy off the net will get her bank details
I like boxes because of the cover and the happy gaming moments that come with it and the manual to read/see some things about the game while its installing(mostly units/weapons) :D And from internet or steam is sometimes more expensive...Also if my steam account gets hacked...Bye bye games! o_O
Both. But mostly online.
me too
me3 :D
And MMEEEEEEEEEEEE
I as well.
Same here.

Used to do boxes, and I do love my boxes, but now mostly online.
Just used? Eh.
Boxes... through online shops. ;-D Too lazy to have a walk. So I suppose 'both', haha? :-D But in a different sense.
love boxes to.
I get both
WOW an actual decent poll on moddb for once. hurraaay
go me... and go digital distribution, hopefully you will all soon be Desura www.desura.com users and fans :)
I will stay with Steam...
Steam FTW
steam is a nice way of buing games. i like it
I am conservative so I buy boxes :D
But Steam is good online store cause your games are thirled to user account :]
The concept of Desura is nice but the UI is horrible and it's not really working yet. A long way to go there.
Yup, a bit long way to Desura's perfection. Just a little bit.
But once there, Steam may have to fear... since onwards there will be only a way upwards... :-)
steam used to have a very basic UI as well. In fact back in the day it used to be bashed all the time.
Not only back then... it's still crap nowadays so nothing changed... except some GUI brush-up :P
There's a beta currently on Steam where you can opt into trying out Steam's new GUI.
What exactly is wrong with Steam? I've got a funny feeling people still "go with the flow" from back then, Steam is great nowadays.
mostly on steam but for my 360 i do it in shops
I got a Xbox 360 too:)
Dont know why your comment got negative karma tho.

dont u have the cd-keys for ur games?
then u can be hacked, but still recover ur account!
I have recoverd my account twice, since i didnt login for about 2 years, and forgat my password. (auto login)
I have to buy boxes, because I don't have credit card :(
if its on steam, online.
Not steam and old game found in a shop -store.
Both =)
yeah, i'm always looking for the lowest price^^
When i discovered Steam i have stopped buying from shops
Both. If the game is new i buy it from Steam (in my country new games usually appear in stores like 3 months after release)
Both- as much as I love my boxes, online is just so damned convenient.
Online, but that's to get the boxes :P
I prefer boxed, but I also prefer purchasing them online.
I like boxes but it's better buy them online because you don't waste space in your room and you can install everytime you want without discs...
But the boxes with manuals are really sweet
Shops. Once I ordered.
