Summer is over and we're back to development (though, to be honest, some dev went on in February). While we were away the decision was made to convert from 2D to isometric, something I wanted from day 1 but wasn't confident to tackle.
Now, with a few years Unity under my belt and the tools to build voxel models quickly and easily, the time to convert is here. Unfortunately this means many weeks of rebuilding and testing to get v0.1 back to working order, but early signs look good that it's mostly drudge work (converting sprites to models, rewriting 2D code to 3D code).
