Four new screenshots, news on the project's development.

We've been secretly working on the game for the last year and a half. It's time for another update on all the progress we've been making! We hope to spend the next month connecting once again with our fans and make some really big announcements. Stay tuned next week when we release a teaser video that will show off some of the content and the updated combat system.

To give you a little taste of the trailer we will be running, here are four screen shots that show off the new and improved Monastery map. These duels take place in the Rosa Bastion, where players can choose to fight in the courtyard, mezzanine, or the library. Also shown is the new player model for Phalanx, a Hokuten assassin.

I remember playing a test version of Berimbau a while ago and I can vouch that the game play is even better than the awesome visuals.

Source can do alot of things, if you put the effort into it.

Problem is, most people aren't willing to the put the effort into it. And nope, I can still recognize that mod as Source. The terrain and the cavern is great, but one look at a building and there it is.

There's something about the way Source handles texturing that just screams that it's Source. In a similar way Unreal Engine's normal mapping screams Unreal Engine. Or maybe it's their specular mapping, not sure. But either way, both of them have their 'tells' that are usually quite obvious.

Even this mod (Versus: Blid Edge) is obviously Source when you see more of the mapping. But these 4 images don't look like it at all.

Welcome back! I can't wait to see more from this mod, lately I've been wanting to get back into 1 on 1 fighting games, and this mod would be perfect.
