Hello, fellow soldiers.
After some months on hiatus, the development got stopped for a while so I can take a break to organize ideas and get inspiration. The new year come in and the development started again with some few huge steps.
Maps are being remade from scratch
I didn't like the final results with the maps I have already made, I spent time learning and porting a new wide collection of assets into the X-Ray Engine, so I decided to make all from scratch and the results are way better this time. New assets and a ton of details got added for all maps.
Currently most of the efforts is being applied in the mapping

New weapon models:
I'm making a lot of progress when it comes to replacing models with higher quality ones and merge new animations for them. Right now the Colt-1911 and PPSh-41 got new manually ported models (and also got retextures) and the Thompson got replaced by the one of Tommy Gun Drop addon.
I'm planning to replace as many models as I can.
New health bar:
Interface is still a really WIP thing on the project, but I thought a health bar presented as a character icon would be cool. It's mainly inspired on Max Payne health bar and works similar.
The damage that you take will reduce the red bar of the character on a vertical way.
The white bar down of it it's the stamina bar.
New player models:
Another really WIP side on the project, currently theres only two player models for Soviets team.
Keep in mind porting character models is a painful and time draining process.
WOW!! this mod looks amazing!!! cant wait to try it out
why do the maps look so flat in terms of lighting
Made on purpose for reasons of ambientation.
X-Ray Engine's baked lighting is overly dark and completely destroys the atmosphere.
