As always, the features included in 1.2 is subject to change before the final release.
Anyhow, version 1.2 of A Clash of Kings will contain quite a lot of new quests, tweaks, items, and optimisations. Below is the current changelog:
Added tournament rewards.
Tweaked tournaments.
Added High Tide, seat of House Velaryon.
Added Nordous' re-done Riverrun scene.
Added Winterfell scene.
Re-did Meereen scene.
Re-did Yunkai scene.
Added three new quests:
Sticks and Stones.
Hear Me Roar.
Seed of the Dragon.
Tweaked items, two-handed weapons are now much less overpowered.
Increased size of garrisons.
Increased size of lord parties.
Added vanilla horse dust particle effect.
Removed a lot of obsolete textures, models etc.
Re-did Dothraki outfits.
Added a couple new valyrian weapons.
New Blackfyre model.
Various world map changes.
New bandit cave.
Buildling ladders now takes longer.
This is obviously just the stuff that has been finished. Other features included in 1.2 will be:
A Night's Watch quest-chain.
More generic quests.
More random missions on the world map.
Two new invading factions.
New Highgarden scene.
New interface.
Formations.
And probably other features that I've forgotten about.
As always, there's no release date. It'll be done when it's done.

and next time i will join to dragonstone and later to targeryen :) storms end is mine :D any guess what invading factions is? wildlings maybe? big band of outlaws attack on vale :) i guess that he meant that beside targaryens. :)

Hey cozur, Nice preview! Question: in 1.1 You mentioned the possibilty of obtaining prince aemonds armor. Howeffer later is was stated that is didnt make update 1.1. Will that armor and its quest? Make it in 1.2? Or later? Or is it scrapped?

Factions should have more men,and towns need a lot bigger garrisons than what they currently have, just my opinion. It's just too easy to start war and win, even on the highest difficulties.
I agree. I've changed it for 1.2
i can counquest iron island alone with 120 veteran northen sargent :) its crazy but a little play with number of trupes in battles and little luck you can still be victorius no mater how many soliders is defending town :)
Hey, Cozur, in previous versions the parties of Crannogmen attack me even if I'm friend or vassal of the North. Will you fix this in version 1.2?

What were you expecting?
I feel like the factions just have too similar of troops. They all upgrade into the same path with the same stats and virtually the same weapons with a few exceptions. Essos just has terrible troops and even if they are meant for field battle the knights still dominate them 10-1. The ironborn have trash tier troops besides there super expensive retainers with no shield at max rank. I feel like these should be fixed seeing as how taking over essos or the iron islands is nothing with a few knights who are just oddly similar. I'm sure this has been asked but being able to recruit a few kingsguard units from say the war guy whom I can't think of his title right now with , maybe a limit of 5? The unsullied need some kind of nerf seeing as how just waiting a few weeks for an entire army of unsullied just destroys everything including knights. I suggest nerfing the amount you can recruit or just the stats they have. Being able to recruit dothraki without taking them prisoner from say a slave trader similar to the unsullied one. They could just both be combined within this for either unsullied or dothraki because playing a dothraki khal would be damn fun. Speaking of dothraki I know you are remaking them in the patch notes so adding things like a dothraki bloodrider via upgrading from a dothraki ko would be awesome. I also feel like it being a complete war and the universe its set in I rarely see any kind of bandits or anything I can feed off of even in essos. Just a few ideas, I apologize if any of these were answered already.

Essos has terrible troops in the GoT universe which is why they hire mercenaries and unsullied.The only way to fix that and be true to lore is to have them automatically hire mercenaries and the unsullied. Most of the seven kingdoms really do have similar troops except for dorne and iron islands. The only difference being who has the best leaders and the most men. The iron islands rely on element of surprise which is why the Greyjoy rebellion failed.

Before 1.1 you posted something about if you take a major city in the region ie Kings Landing the local lords will join with you. Will this be in 1.2 or is that idea being scraped?

As for me, i really love this mod series but i'm having a pretty significant problem. ACOK 1.0 works perfectly for me, it never crashes (unless i do something really retarded and increase the battle sizer)but it seems 1.1 and 1.11 are both incompatible with my system somehow as when I enter towns or villages and most importantly fights, i seem to crash every time and when i don't all the textures are screwed up (i.e, i can see through the floor, white and black textured sky/map boundaries). I happen to know my PC is very capable of running this mod as i have a dual core processor with 32 gigs of RAM (these babies--->NVIDIA Quadro 5010M i love them so much)Do you have an explanation on why this is happening? Anyhow great mod and i hope to see a reply shorty!
P.S: Every other mod for M&B doesn't crash this consecutively, only once in a while if at all.
Could we at least have a month when it will be done? Or a year? A year would do just fine... And with the new quests, are any of them going to be the "Epic quest involving Tyrieon, Sansa, Bronn (and the others, forgot who else)"? Cause I am tired of Bronn continualously tell me to get out of his way.... by the way great mod! Can't wait for 2.2

Great Mod! I never like things on Facebook, but if it helps you, it's worth it.
One quick question, will you be removing this "kings hold" on cities? It's really annoying that my kingdom can't expand beyond a certain point. (May not just be kings hold. I just can't attack any more towns for whatever reason. This is new to this mod patch)
what do you mean kings hold... the only factions i havent destroyed yet our the north and dorne....
So will the unsullied be abit easier to get in 1.22? and will slavers bay be in aswell?
Is there anyway to look like a valyrian? i would love if you introduce it in the character creation =P
