Ultimate Apocalypse Mod
News - October, the progress of version 1.73
As for the work in progress, October 2013, the Apocalypse mod team would like to apologize for the huge inconvenience in finishing the latest version, 1.73. The mod was on hold for a temporary time because of real life "issues" and furthermore no time on our hands to get this version finished at the deadline we promised. We tried to get it out there in August, we tried to get it out there in September, and finally October, but unexpected things pop out of nowhere and we (Lord_Doofus) thought you could use an update as of what was going on.

But the mod is roughly 85% finished for the 1.73 release. Why we don't release it to you now is because of AI and crash to desktops that still exist along with "illegal" content remaining in the mod so distributing it "as is" is not possible either.
Finally for the sadest-bad-news-ever, there is a possibility that the mod would not be released in November. The mod does indeed get worked on, and when it does, lots of changes gets added, but the mod is going snail speed and at the unacceptable rate as is... results depict that the mod will not be released until Christmas where by then (finally) we will be very active. :)
So... yeah, I regret being the bearer of bad news, but that is the truth. To make up for it we will definitely try to get version 1.74 out like... quicker than you think, but all in all, the mod is on hold FOR THE MOMENT.
Finally during this time we will make UA New Races a bit more clear to install, with finally a link to Daemons mod 0.96 in every release we have given you. But that is all we can do for now. :(
Please leave a comment within this news and definitely do not hesitate to play UA mod 1.72.7 as that is the latest version that will be available in a good two months. :)

You need that mod installed (as well as the Tyranid mod and Inquisition Daemonhunters) to run the New Races and Campaign expansions, yes.
Which as their name indicates, are "expansions". That added to we're not the creators of Tyranids and IDH mods is one reason UA isn't a single huge fatso download xP

Take as long as you like guys, out of all the developers for all the mods I have subscribed to, you guys give the best updates, news and what not and not to mention the most dedication. Keep up the good work, love you guys :D

BTW if you could made the New Race comparable with the new Daemons mod soon then it'll be GREAT!
It would be best if you guys didnt give deadlines, have an attitude of "it's done when it's done" because no one can account for things that are going to interfere with production, and people will be less let down when something gets delayed if there was no deadline to begin with.
Yeah ok take all the time you need. I'm guessing that it may be released during Christmas? If you ask me, that is actually a pretty good time.

Seriously though, what do you intend to accomplish with this? I, for one surely don't get it.
With some luck the ModDB admins will get tired of your crap (or more accurately, people complaining about it) and ban you from even posting as a guest altogether.
btw: Personally I don't find your seriously negative reinforcement either annoying OR as any reason to work harder/faster/better/stronger on UA *AT ALL*. In any case I find it amusing that someone can be so foolish as to consistently make himself look like a capsraging retard.
P.S.: I don't like rl. It's boring, untimely and awkward way beyond my descriptive abilities. Why else I'd put all time it is possible to me on the computer?

This would be even awesome with two extra features.
1) Dead bodies don't disappear straight away, like previous mods that worked with the game's patch of 1.3.
3) Rotate buildings, or have buildings in the build menu that are in multiples of different angles.

This is rather a good idea, would makeing a damn good base in one of the compact maps easier
Anyone got "fatal scar error - execution paused" when starting this game? I have all the patches and when I play vanilla it works ok..

With the campaign, after defeating the Eldar does anyone elses game crash? I am running a fairly powerful PC so am assuming there is just something wrong with the game trying to mix between the mod and the real campaign
This is definitely a bug related not to the mod, but the DOW engine itself. I'm not sure how to fix, but it is possible in the future to find a way.
