After 11 months of development, the first public beta of HQ is out! HQ comes in two flavors, manual install and exe install. Please make sure you check the read me file before installing and playing. If you have any comments, questions, problems, etc please feel free to ask us on our forums. We have also released the breakable objects pak for use in q4 map making and modding, and the HQ beta player pack for use in Q4 multiplayer. Please check the readme file for each one as well before using and installing.
To help celebrate the release, we are also showing off the final playable characters and weapon in HQ.
DOOM is here!!!! Another classic id character returns to slaughter the Strogg in HQ. His orange variant from Q3, Phobos is here as well. And what would Doom be without the chainsaw? Instead of the wimpy circle saw gauntlet, in HQ you weld a chainsaw gauntlet complete with new animations!
