I want to show the progress of the new Cordon, and I also have been very busy studying AI and Level Design. Fifty (50) new screenshots of the first part of Cordon and it's a lot bigger than the original. The landscape uses 4K textures, tessellation, and an incredible amount of grass.
The grass will change in tone of color based off the landscape texture color (like in the Witcher 3 and many other games). Also, in the future, I will change all the old STALKER modes with new ones.
Right now only 5 people are actively working on this project: Ivan Sorce (Project Director), Daniel Swahn (Lead Graphics Artist), Yoshikagelisa (Story, Quest, and Dialogue Writer), Coach Dorn (Marketing and Assistant Coordinator) Mechanic ( Animation Rigging)

Thanks to everyone and also remember that i will make this project open source for the S.T.A.L.K.E.R community once will be completed, everyone will be able to modify the AI and many other stuff very easily thanks to UE4 Blueprints.
Also i can't use other stuff from other games because this is a fan game and i could get my project easily in trouble and get removed.

Thank god GSC is such a community based company, you'll never have to fear your project being taken down or removed.
It's one thing to recreate the environments but it's another to program in all of the gameplay mechanics and AI that made STALKER unique and that's where I fear this project will fall.

yes! i hope i will not have any trouble with GSC in the future, don't worry about that, the A-life it's something easy to create with a modern engine, i recreated a good part of that, the next step will be the AI mutants.
Create an AI with random behavior generator it's very easy :D

This is amazing - and its really a warmup for many things in the future. UE4 creation and potential modding of S2 I see as my future, too.
And seeing your awesome work puts more hope from me into STALKER 2, that it will be truly up to the task (no matter how long we would need to wait , if we waited more than a decade, we can wait a bit more).

Is there any way to emulate A-life in Unreal 4 or is it just a crapshoot as far as the AI is concerned?
I already emulated a good part of A-life. you can find an old video about that on my YouTube. And no this is not a crapshoot :D

Spectacular! I love how the community is slowly building an ideal version of STALKER. Everyone just decided one day that the ideal conception of perfection that exists in our minds is absolutely obtainable, and progress has definitely been made.
Cannot wait to see what happens with this, keep up the hard work, and I'm sure it is a lot of hard work, but it has led to astounding things so far!

Thanks! i also bought a new Sound Pack and i got around 200 different sound steps for cinematic videos and games and the quality it's fantastic!

I can't wait to see this in action; it reminds me of Cry of Zone (or was it Cry of Zona?) I think I saw it mistranslated as that somewhere lol. I love this franchise.. I saw remaster I was stoked!
I watched the video here I heard the use of the term "retard" and Sidorovich never said that in the original game. I thought does the mod team think using a slur against mentally disabled is funny? Sidorovich original dialog was already perfect. He always referred to the character as S.T.A.L.K.E.R
Then I wondered what other dialog this will include if they change it to suit their humour. I also wondered did they not see the result of what happened to Fallout The Frontier devs injecting what they thought was humour? Did they not see Sia trending for making a mocking video of Autism when she was completely out of touch on the subject.
I want to love this "Remaster" but I really hope the modders don't change the original dialog for their sake & mine, for the reasons I stated above.
Also will the original music/audio be used. Will people have to worry about DCMA strikes should the modders be inclined to put copyrighted music they like into the radios.
I am using the original stalker audio and dialogs i found in the file game i extracted.
