Speed level design: Lava from the Nostrils

I've been at it again and am making good progress on the first map of episode 2. During the last stream, I created an additional passage where the player doesn't need to be to complete the level. If he chooses to take risk, rewards will follow. The area in the screenshot below is the result of a couple of mapping hours.

Making it up as I go

The idea of making lava pour from the nostrils of the demon heads (as the title of the video suggests) actually only came at the very end. This entire area wasn't planned in advance so everything you see in the video below is me coming up with things on the fly. I'm glad with the way it turned out because sometimes making stuff up as you go ends up getting deleted.
