As it’s been more than a week now since the release of Into New Worlds, and as promised, I’m here to talk about what the Republic At War development team has planned for 1.4.

Republic At War 1.4: A Call To Arms


Republic At War: A call to Arms, will be Republic at War’s first step in bringing the mod up to date in models, textures, and ease of life/play features. This ranges from new AI behavior and trends, balancing, brand-new models and/or textures for a bunch of units, and so much more!

This update will be pretty light in terms of new content, but that doesn’t mean we aren't bringing anything new to the table!

New items include:

Two new units!

CIS and Republic Militia: Able to be built on any planet without any barracks or droid works, the militia is stronger than almost all civilian forces but still weaker than your standard battle droid or clone trooper squadron. They are useful in quickly adding additional units before an enemy invasion or to make sure units have been left on a captured planet before you move on to your next target in your campaign.

Two brand new Galactic Conquests!

Fortunes Reversed: Every planet switches factions with each other. So the CIS starts with Coruscant and Kamino, while the Republic starts off with Genesis and Hypori.

Carnage: A full-scale galactic conquest where all of the starting units are massive tech 4 and tech 5 capital ship fleets. Let the doom stacks commence!

3 New Planets!

Lehon, Mimban, and Chandrilla! Go check out our Official Republic At War Discord Server to see updates and progress.

1 new buildable Republic hero! Nala Sa will be buildable on Kamino and will grant a bonus to training clones on any planet she’s present on.


Now that we’ve gone through all of the new content, let’s go over some of the updated units and features!

Updated unit models and/or textures include (but are not limited to):

Republic buildpad turrets
NTB630 Naval Bomber
V19 Torrent
V-wing
ARC-170
Providence-Class Destroyer
Droideka
AAT
NR-N99 Persuader-class droid enforcer (snail tank)
Dwarf Spider Droid
And many more!

Other Changes

Balance changes for different planets and units.
Numerous different bug fixes
New GUI for the republic and CIS
New terrain and model shaders
New laser particles
And more to be announced!

I bet you’re wondering, when will it be released? Though we are on no official timeline, it is our current estimate that we release Republic At War 1.4 between the middle to end of Summer 2023. That is just an estimate though, and we will provide updates as we get closer to the release.

The Procurator is planned as written here ?

I'll probably post them in images when I get the chance. As for the procurator, that was from 2012, and since then the mod was put on hold and revived. It will be added in eventually, but there isn't any official timeline for it yet.

"Balance changes" so maybe Republic AI won't put down two vehicle depots and just spam unlimited, no counter walkers when you start making every invasion a tedious, expensive slog?

The ai behaviors will be completely updated, so this probably won't be an issue.

Gute Arbeit es sieht wie immer perfekt aus.
Jedoch frage ich mich ob ihr vor habt noch weitere Helden hinzuzufügen wie zum Beispiel der Separatisten Mar Tuuk oder General Kalanie die in The Clone Wars auftauchten.

Our ships currently have moveable turrets, the Venator, ISD, Rothana Destroyer, etc all have moving turrets that shoot

damn but is there anyone in this damn forum who deigns to answer simple questions?? Dear God, I've been asking for help for over 4 years and no one will even text me!! MY RAW MOD CRASHES AND IN ADDITION TO THIS, IT ALSO DELETES MY SAVES. WHAT CAN I DO???? HELLO?????????
