Finally! I've been waiting for almost two years of watching these previews for the announcement of a new release! I can't wait for it to come out.

Please consider updating the textures you use in Q2XP with that pack: Moddb.com
It really provides lots of improvements and consistency compared to the texture set used in Q2XP now.
and who will draw normal maps, heights, and so on for these textures? Joe Biden?

why do we need this vanilla textures, if our textures are used by nvidia in q2rtx?
hi there, i like this sourceport... but there is a huge problem for me and i do not know if there is a solution.
while playing i keep hearing footsteps, even when my character stops moving.
the sound is the same like the one my character does.
in the quake 2 game, and other source ports i never felt this problem...
it feels like footsteps never stop... is there a fix or a way to revert that part to normal quake 2 behavior?
in quake2 when you stop moving the footsteps sound stops. any way to get this in quake2xp ?
in the original, the monsters did not make sounds when walking or running) Except for the heaviest ones. I fixed it, but I made a slight mistake in the radius on which they can be heard. It's already fixed.
