Hello all,
We are still working on the mod, it is not dead, however it does take a very long time to do as we are still in stages of completing the outline. We are maybe 90% done with all rough map outlines and are now mainly working on polishing, voice-acting, modelling and puzzle-making. Enjoy the video - please note that it is still in very early stages and is only 40% of final product quality in this video.
In the video: Some newer areas to the game. Everything is in initial stages of production so of course - very WIPey and nowhere near polished. Showcasing some guns and some new enemies along with the portable turret car weapon.
Environments need more polishing, you need to work on the scope zoom in animation of the rifle and the magnum should be replaced by something that doesn't look so harmless as that pistol. Sorry if i'm being too harsh with this comment, is just that i'm kind of out of time and wanted to point out the things i think you could improve. Wish you the best of luck with your work!
This video shows some AWESOME new stuff, have seen so much new things that i simply don't know were to start. Those APC trucks without wheels but with tracks! Then the small driving floor turret thing! That bird like creature at the end of the movie! Man, all such great things!!
Am tracking this one for quit some time and right from the start i knew this had big potential. o, nearly forgot those completely snow white npc combines outside, they look so well skinned!!!
Just one small remark, which is also made by some others, the level design itself is not the strongest point of this mod. There are a few level parts in the video that i thought; this does need extra work or probably even better, a completely new rebuild. Please believe me when i say that i say this with the best intention. And about the snow on all those containers outside (were you fight those awesome white combines). It is really best to make that snow out of displacement, it makes it look now as a HL 1 mod. Would probably even better also for the fps, even when the snow on the containers is made out of detail brushes, which they ofcourse need to be but i assume you know this ofcourse.
All in all, man, awesome work this!!! Am really looking forward to play this one.

Ya, hey thanks! we will polish lots before we release. There's not much I can do for the scope zoom animation, because its not animated at all. That trick is done by the code. To re-write the code for animated iron-sighting and then animated the model with a zoom in, zoomed, and zoom out animations, would be a very time consuming. I won't all together scrap the idea, but leave it aside as something for late production. The pistol stays, its deadly and deadlier in the hands of a combine. >:D

@Miia those things may has a little bit of Tweety in them, I did watch a bunch of Looney Tunes as a child. Spoiler: They are called Voloxelican's(the plural) and can transition from fighting on the ground to flight, and from an aerial advantage, spit a solidified acidic loogie at you.

To me this Mod is Half life 3 and will be the best.
