Edain Mod 4.4.1 Demo Released!
Greetings, companions of the Edain!
Today we released Patch 4.4.1 for the Edain 4.0 Demo. You can get the update by updating the mod through the Edain Launcher.
In case you don't have a version of Edain installed already, you first have to download the basic version as a complete package by clicking on the banner below. After installing Edain, use the Update Function of the Edain Launcher to get the latest version. You may have to update several times until the launcher shows that no newer version is available anymore.

We're delighted to present you a new custom hero class for version 4.4.1: The Elven Lord! We originally planned to release him in version 4.4 alongside Rivendell. But we decided to hold him back a bit and take the time we needed to polish him to perfection. Fitting perfectly with the latest faction of Imladris, you can now create a powerful Elven melee hero on top of the old Elven archer. The Elven Lord is a subclass of the Hero of the Free People. He comes with many different designs you can mix and match, ranging from the silver armour of Rivendell in the Third Age to a soldier of Mirkwood or Thranduil's Palace guards.
Attention: To choose a custom hero with Rohan or Imladris, first click on desired hero's name in the list (even though it's greyed out!) and then press the first character of their name on your keyboard.
Apart from the Elven Lord, this update mainly brings important fixes to the most severe bugs of version 4.4. Among other things, Angmar, the Dwarves and Rivendell should now correctly build defense towers. Additionally, we made several balance tweaks:
- Cost of monsters raised to 600, elite monsters to 1200.
- Rivendell's flood spell now inflicts 150% more damage.
- Some errors with the Weapon Masters, causing them to inflict way more damage with forged blades than intended, have been fixed.
- The Dunedain Outpost now is defended by fewer and weaker Dunedain.
- Chariots now slow down 20% less and have the same increased armor against swords as regular riders.
- Damage of all turrets has been reduced by 15%.
We know that some abilities of the Loremasters still are problematic, but reworking them is beyond the scope of this small bugfix update. We will be working on this problem as well as the promised revamp of siege weapons and defenses for the next big version.

Thank you Edain Team for all your great work, but there's a problem with the Epic Battle modus and I've also noticed that the Imladris infantry don't auto-heal when they have banner carriers.
No normal or elite units do autoheal with banner carrier, they just respawn.

10 years that the game is out and i'm still playing. This is one of the best RTS game ever made !! You do a fabulous job don't stop now

hello ... I have crushes.. I play for obut 5 to 8 min. and down say game had stop// I uninstal all and instal agen up date... still hapens :/ is ther problem at my pc? or is ther somthing i moust do?

Great mod! but I have one promise; could you do something with archers on walls? they don't stay on walls, but go up and down from them when they see enemies. if i choose defence position for them, they will not attack enemies. I hope that will be able to stay them on wall and they will don't move and only attack enemies when they go to range of archers.
Press S at the desired spot to make your archers permanently stop there, they will attack all units in range but not move.

I played against 2 brutal AIs today, Mordor and Imladris, on a 3 player map. Mordor worked just fine but Imladris absolutely did nothing. On 2 player map, Imladris AI does build things but they are very slow compare to the other factions. Hope this will be fixed.

I can't update my game to have edain mod 4.4.1 how can I get this update
and I have edain mod 4.4 but most of the text from the game are missing
(for example: what bonuses give me the different type of farm, what do the skills of the heroes and units, what do the magic spells)what should I do?
Thank you all of your work but can you fixe that the AI enemies and allies doesn't play normally in war of the ring RTS mod? And I think it would be better to make Arnor as a new faction and it would be better too to be possible to choose between the dwarves factions in war of the ring and you could make some new armor for the men costum heroe and the elves archer custom heroe too.
Isengart(cursed) has been missing since 4.4.1 update can you check it guys?

i have another question: how could i increas limit of units, more than 1800 in custom battle? it is possible?
Well, This mod has "game modes" and they should say how many units you can have based on the standard 1800 CP (command Points). Epic Battle being 10 times CP, Elites [newest update] 1/2 CP, and Massacre 1/3 CP
I have an idea for the Mordor in 4.5,
-Removed Minas Morgul and Dol guldur fortress'
-Added Rhûn and Haradrim Camp
-Outpost can be turned to Morgul Outpost and Dol Guldur Outpost
-Both versions have their own barracks, resource buildings and both unlocks a hero (Khamûl and Witch King)
-Rhûn and Haradrim camps act like the Dale Marketplace, Dûnedain Outpost etc.
-Haradrim camp has an extra expansion to the outpost, Mumakil Pen.
That's actually a brilliant idea! Although Edain team has confirmed that the easterlings and haradrim would remain as Spellbook Powers when they were asked for easterlings faction.

Hello guys, got some problems here:
1) Max CP is only 900
2) Can't use my own heroes
Had experienced that earlier, yet all was ok recently. Unfortunately, these errors started to haunt me again after the latest update, is there any remedy?
Is it just me, or does the Untamed Allegiance power not work? It converts the allegiance of the lair and the creatures that defend it, but I have yet to be able to build units, besides single wargs and cave trolls. So does building the units not work for now due to some type of unique coding for the new and edited neutral lairs?

I have a problem when trying to update, it said Exception Message: "The 'meta' start tag on line 1 position 14 does not match the end tag of 'head'. Line 3, position 15". What should I do
Hey..I'm a new guy and I'm looking for Mirkwood faction in edain 4.41, but I can't find it...
I keep trying to update my copy of the Edain mod to current beta and my Windows PC keeps telling me it Could Not Connect To Server. Can I have help please?

hello! where is Thranduil from the game? isnt he is in the lothorien faction? i cant see him anywhere. but i saw he ws in older versions. where is he now? removed?
