Edain 4.0 Demo Release Date
It is our great pleasure to announce that we will be releasing the demo of Edain 4.0 this Saturday, March 28th. It will contain the four core factions of Rohan, Isengard, Mordor and Gondor (including Arnor) and allow you to explore all the new features of 4.0 with those factions - chief among the return to the castle-based gameplay of the first Battle for Middle-Earth. This will be our first version to be released with full English text and audio! Our new trailer will give you an impression of what you can expect:

It will be a full download. You don't need previous versions for it. :)
Will be full download and then will be individual patches regarding of remaining factions. Primarily will be supported new (4.0) version.

BTW- What will be in full version that's not in demo? Aside from more factions?
I think that full version will primarily contain campaign (or campaigns) and more maps (special maps) and definitely remaining faction: Lorien, Imladris, Angmar, Misty Mountains and Dwarves.
Nothing (well, a bit). The demo conatins everything concerning the 4 factions. So there will be new CaH classes, I think. Some new models, etc. Edain Team said, all models concerning nondemo factions have been removed from the demo.
I am so excited! Got goosebumps watching the trailer, which is awesome. I watched the livestream the other day and thought it and the guys commentating were brilliant. I'm happy to be a part of the community of this mod, and I look forward to playing this demo and subsequent updates in the future. Well done guys. You deserve Mod of the Year, and all the praise and congratulations we can give you. Keep on keeping on.

At first, I really want to thank you for these years of work, and all the pain and effort you spend in this epic mod.
Second, I curse my self for reading this, because I know now that these days are going to take sooo long.
And with that I have important tests next week :(
I am so eager to play Arnor! And Mordor! And then the rest!
I have waited, and Ill wait a bit longer then the rest, but then all my free time will be thrown out of the window.

Can you post a how-to-download and how-to-install here when it's downloadable? :-) I had to look up how to download and install Edain on Youtube 'cause I'm not that good with that sort of stuff..
Instalation of Demo version will be very easy through new epic launcher. It is even in current version.
Well to download it, you will need to click on a button called "Download" and to install you need to double click the file you downloaded. Thats it.

I've ben playing BFME since I was 5! Lol, was so happy that a few people actually are continuing to update this awsome franchise, love the new build plots like the original bfme, brings back so many memories!!! Ty you guys, make me so happy!!
