Greetings people! Last week we shared the thought process behind the creation of our protagonist with you, and today we are going to show you the first room the player will play in.

Let's begin, shall we?

Sketching time!

Even before the sketch, we knew that we wanted our game to begin in the player's bedroom! Since we are a tiny little bit delayed, we really didn't have much time to make variations of some objects and object combinations. Alright, here is the sketch.

This sketch is a little bit, well, sketchy ahahah, but, it already has many important aspects of the room, like a bed, a wardrobe, a window, etc...

Now, lineart!

Alright, it's lineart time!

This room had two versions of lineart, one where the items had a good perspective, and the other with not so great perspective. This second version had a purpose, we were supposed to take some of the items there and try to make different versions of them, but in the end, we just made them with the final perspective.

The trouble with colors.

Now, let's talk about colors.

Our game artist isn't really accustomed to black and white colors, so we took a while to get the right colors with the right saturation. We're just going to show you two versions of the colored room.

For this 9th week, we showed you the first room the player will play in! Hopefully, Diana's Lyre will be released in June 2022!
