Welcome to King's Land

With the first post in the new year, we want to give you a deeper insight into the current development of our medieval role-playing game Kingdom Sieges.
Over the last weeks and months there were many questions from the community and we are very grateful for this, for us at Chrysalis Games it is always nice to witness how our project not only grows from day to day, but also how the community slowly but steadily grows.

As you may have already followed along, whether through our tweets on Twitter, our page on Facebook, or even on Instagram, Kingdom Sieges is expected to be released at the end of 2021 for the computer and current (Xbox One, PS4) as well as new generations of consoles (Xbox Series, PS5).

We've received a lot of feedback on our social networks over the past few weeks, and we'd like to take this opportunity to address some of the questions.


  • Will there be the possibility to integrate user-created mods into the game?

    We are currently evaluating this possibility and working on concepts that will allow players to integrate their own created mods into the game, trying to develop a possibility between creative freedom for the players without any risk of compromising the game mechanics.
    We are very confident that in the foreseeable future there will be possibilities to integrate e.g. user created models or individually designed castles and more into the game.
  • Will there be conquests, battles between armies and sieges in the game?

    Yes, both the functions to castle sieges, raids with medium sized troops or even conquests of various settlements, lands and entire regions to gain influence, power and wealth.
    In Kingdom Sieges, we rely on various mechanics to offer the player these possibilities.
    There will also be opportunities to plan an entire campaign in advance missions and to take the necessary precautions such as scouting important locations, building weapons of war and equipment and more.

  • Can I also own my own castle in the game and also expand it?

    Yes you can, Kingdom Sieges will give you the opportunity, with enough resources, power and wealth, to obtain or build your own castle either by conquest or by obtaining the respective prestige.
    In both cases it depends on the skill of the player, before a castle can be built or conquered, not only the necessary materials such as wood, iron or stone must be procured and processed, but also decided via the master builder, which floor plan the own castle should have, which extensions it will receive and also other aspects such as size, guards and location of the castle must be planned in advance.
  • Can I actively support the Game through Crowdfunding?

    The short answer is yes!
    Currently we are still in the planning and evaluation for the upcoming launch of the crowdfunding campaign, which will start in the near future. In order to be able to offer you interesting and special rewards, it still needs a little time to conscientiously carry out and plan all the preparations. If you are already interested in joining our crowdfunding campaign, you can register now via the game's pre-launch page on our partner Indiegogo.
