Well, we are getting VERY close to beta. Sadly, there is still much work to be done, but the end-run is here and the mod should be done shortly. We may not hit our target day exactly but that was to be expected. We apologize in advance, if we cannot ship the mod on December 25th, but know that if it is not ready then it is because we are working to make it perfect. We want a bug free mod to be given to the beta team. Now this is not totally possible, we hope to have all the major kinks and issues resolved. We also are making sure every facet of the mod keeps to our high standards. With this in mind, we have taken on another staff member from outside the EAW/FOC community to assist us with one of our final tasks. We are re-doing every texture in game for the maps to match the rest of our high-res skins and textures on our units, and props. So the final to-do list is very short indeed. With all this in mind, we will not be speaking of a exact date for release. However, all we will say now is that date is right around the corner. Please be patient. We know some of you have been waiting for YEARS and we appreciate it. You will not have to wait much longer.

well that's ****** me off, why did you say we'll have it out by x-mas if u knew you could get it out by thin MY GOD i'm starting to get sick of the lies just release the beta now and thin release the full version next year you know, you guys can release it now but your just waiting and waiting, until people don't care about the mod anymore, also you say there is still much work to be done , why don't you say to everyone hey this is what we have done as a beta you guys can play it and have fun with our mod because we know you've waited a long time and have a lot more fun with it and thin say thin you'll all have fun with newer units and ships when the full mod comes out, people will start saying well i haven't played anything so i'm gonna lose hope in this mod never coming out, SO COME ON RELEASE THE BETA AND STOP ******* *** PLEASE
@DarthNihilus03: dude not necessary... these guys are working really hard on the mod and they dont need you insulting them on their great work...... and if you put that much work giving them positive reinforcement rather than writing a long winded speach then they'd feel better and maybe work a bit harder....

How many games and mods have been released on the date they have planned?
We will be releasing a list soon of whats left to complete. Remember DN, this mod is a merge of IA2, and RaW. So its not just as simple as you think. The IA2 Staff is pretty much working on the space portion, and RaW is doing the land. Although there is a mix of the 2 also. I have done dome of the space units and vice-versa. We are working very hard, but sadly we cant sit here 24 hours a day working on the mod. Xmas was more of a goal for the team, to hit. It pushed us to work harder, and we have gotten a ton of work done in these last few months. I am VERY proud of our small team. They have alot to be proud of. So what we are not gonna make it on the exact day. We do not and will not put something out there that is not finished. If we are putting our names on it we want it to be as perfect as possible. If that takes 10 more days or 10 more months, thats the way it will be. I think its great that you are excited, but you can also help us. Turn some of that energy to helping out the team. Stay positive hun.. its coming. Just be patient. :)

I can understand your frustration, seeing how RaW/IA2 has been in production for over a year, but the scheduled Christmas release is really the only time Z and the team have ever set a date and promised to release something on that date. So they've only lied once but I wouldn't even call it a lie. Z and the team are working hard to complete the mod but RaW is all about quality and if they were to release a mod or beta that lacked the promised quality well that would be a lie and a huge disappointment. It can't be much longer until the release, to quote Z: "that date is right around the corner."
On another note, Z and team you all have put together one great mod, I look forward to its final release
