We've just released a new version of the HL2 mod Dear Esther, with the following changes:
- Improved mapping and terrain fixes for the levels 1, 2 and 3 (4 to follow soon, honest)
- Removal of player clips and replacement of these with kill triggers to prevent map escapes
- Improved sound mix, including final cue remixed
- Fixed double-cue firing issue in level 2
- Extra story cues added
- Caves section extended
Planned for v1.2 (Feb)
- Improvements to level 4
- Recoding to allow for subtitling
This file fully replaces an existing version of Dear Esther. Please delete any existing versions and unzip into your SourceMods folder.
