So we've had a great run over the past few years, we have grown a very strong and loyal team of some truly amazing artists and developers. More are always welcome to join as well ;)
We will be releasing a mini-mod download towards the end of the week that will replace the default game's Nebulon B, DP20, and CR90. These new units will be our custom models, and turrets, rigged and coded to be used simply replacing files in your default EAW folder.
If we rank in the top 100, we will release a few additional ships, such as the Assault Frigate MK2, the Immobilizer Cruiser, and a few others. If we rank in the top 10, we will free release a replacement of every unit in EAW/FOC (space only) with one of our units. Units not used by us from original EAW/FOC will be replaced such as the Acclamator being replaced with the Raptor Star Destroyer, and the Aggressor being replaced with the Lictor.
If we reach the top 5, we will release more surprises, such as particle effects and additional units from some of the minor factions.
If we happen to reach #1 in the contest, we will:
FREE RELEASE EVERY MODEL WE OWN.
This will be done as we complete a model, so once a model is textured and rigged, we will immediately upload it here for all to use in their own projects.

It's hard to know if this is ever going to come out or if it's just vaporware with a list of cool features like so many other "mods" on this website and others, but I voted 'cause there's really nothing in all of gaming I'm more interested in seeing modded in than some kind of halfway realistic representation of the Vong war / New Jedi Order period. Especially now that there's zero chance of getting an official game with anything like that!
It takes time, but we are not doing all this work for nothing, our team is fully dedicated.
