Whoa, long time no see, you guys still here?
But yeah, hello, NF, the leader and coder on this mod!
The Collector has been quiet for quite a long time now, and I apologize for not saying anything.
I've been really busy and bla bla, you heard it all before. - But I just could not let this go down.
However, The Collector is back on track!
With the new source sdk version just made available for modders, I've been working alot on The Collector,
and as a matter of fact, it is very far, coding wise. Only coding wise. Read further for more info.
But this new source version is a big thing, as this will become Macintosh available as well .
Some new features in this new engine (for example, multicore rendering) make the game run
alot smoother than before!
So, as mentioned
I need a modeler, to make this game stand out. Right now, this is my biggest priority as I assume mappers
will come when we have some solid content model wise.
I sincerely hope at least one modeler will reply, as running around with stock characters, not to mention
stock props, ain't that great.
The modeller(s) I'm looking for should be able to make characters, and or weapons, and or items. Texturing
will be a huge plus.
So long story short - character modelers, weapon/prop modelers. (Props as in traps for the Collector)
The compiling process is not necessarily something you will need to know how to, as I have some
knowledge of that.
You might be thinking though
"Hmm, I thought I saw some screenshots of some models on this page?"
- Correct, but the Collector team is no more a team. We're down at two guys, me inclusive, where the one guy,
is busy on other content, and won't be coming back soon.
Long story short
I am looking forward to keep developing this with new and great features, and I hope you will be here
when this is getting released!
