Avalanche. Development announcement
Avalanche is a custom chapter for Half-Life: Alyx, which includes a new story, new location, new weapons (and possibly more). Avalanche is currently under development.
Atlant resort
Explore the abandoned resort "Atlant", located on the shore of a drying sea. According to the rebel intelligence, the Combine forces are safeguarding a technology known as the "regeneration core." The main protagonist, Gideon, has been tasked with investigating this location and infiltrating the heart of the resort.
Dead seaside
As you progress through the location, Gideon has to get outside the resort - towards the sea. The coastline is filled with antlion nests, which the Combine utilise for their purposes. This part of the location will provide players with lot of open space for exploration.
New weapons
In Avalanche, players will have access to new weapons. Currently, a new pistol SA-01 (Smart Armory - 01) is being developed. In addition to this, there are also plans to add new modules.
