So a few days ago I decided I'd do something a bit different, there are many HD mods for SoC but none of them do what I'm now calling Absolute HD 2023 does. Namely, it takes the original SoC textures and remasters them to true HD variants. I did initially upload the mod to the SIN downloads but for sake of keeping things simple Absolute HD now has it's own mod page HERE

Well that's it really, any conversation relating to Absolute HD can now happen on it's own page. SIN is still underway and I'm hoping to release a new build soon adding improved and new features.
Very nice, I would always go with low quality original textures rather than high quality made up ones. This might be the first texture mod I might use.
Thats exactly why I created this mod :o) Not everyone wants a different look regardless of how closely the original look is stuck to and the only option for people like that is the original textures remastered to HD. I could make textures higher resolution for this mod still but the simple fact is X-Ray in most cases doesn't actually benefit from textures that are a higher resolution than 2K. Textures that have a lot of components on that have much smaller parts rendered out benefit by some degree being 4K but otherwise most surfaces don't benefit from a texture being higher resolution than 1x1k, 2x1k, something like that.
