"Zombies: Re-Animated" is a mod which brings back the original "Zombies TC" to the modern Doom sourceports. Apart from beign a more faithfull remasterization of the original mod, this mod improves on the original version with: - Completely re-animated weapons - Several tweaks to the lighting of the maps to improve the mood of them - All of the Dehacked configuration ported to Decorate, MAPINFO, LANGUAGE, etc. - Added colission to windows (Doom map format limitation) - And more! All to bring back this cult classic mod in a faithfull and respectful way to the modern times!

So considering the reception the mod got was principally good I'll make one little update in v1.1 adding a couple of compatibility cvars and fixes to the maps.

But thanks to the feedback I got in the Zdoom forums I'm planning some things to make the mod more complete in v1.2 c: , such as:

- "Invasion Of The living Dead" support. Not the entire EEE but Astrocreep was kind enough to offer to clean his code and allow a merge of his invasion style add-on to this mod as well. So the horde mechanic will be ported as well for this add-on only
- "Headshots" It shouldn't be too invasive to add this feature so this could be a nice touch for those who play with mouselook.
- "Surprise Respawns" You should double tap them if you aren't sure if they are dead...

And more! But I think this are the most interesting points to add here
It may take a while but stay tuned folks! :D

No offense meant but "Apart from beign a more faithfull remasterization" faithful my ***. The first thing I notice booting that crap is zombies running. Have you ever seen the movies this mod is based on?

Want to make new animations? Fine. Completely change the gameplay by messing with zombie speed? Then don't pretend to have made "a more faithfull remasterization" there is nothing faithful here. Just a personnal spin on a well known mod.

Thanks for having made the litteral ONLY "serious" mod I ever uninstalled out of pure rage.

That sound amazing... I love it so far and it works absolutely amazing with incarnate and bolongnese...
I would love to see some new decorative addons like lighting effects Ala dark doom. Also headshots would be sooooooooooo amazing... Nash made something cool with headshots...

Awesome... Absolutely awesome..
Hope you will implement many more weapons, enemies and stuff...
The earlier versions where not compatible with gore mods.. This one works absolutely great with bolongnese.. Will the addon for EEE which makes it a wave based shooter also work?

Well, about implementing more weapons and enemies I'm not intending to do that as I don't want to stray too far away from the original content.

But I'm interested in fixing compatibility with other mods, sadly the addon from EEE totally needs EEE to work and replicating EEE zombies are not in my interest.

At the moment the mod shouldn't have any problem running with weapon mods
But if you are asking about if I will make more weapons with the theme of the mod , then I'm not interested but anyone is free to do it
