Fan of the original mod "Zombies TC" for Doom II?
Dissapointed by not seeing a faithfull and yet improved version of it which doesn't completely changes the gameplay formula and original content?
Well ! The day to enjoy once again this cult classic mod has come!
I present to you "Zombies TC: Re-Animated"!
"Zombies TC: Re-Animated" is a mod which brings back the original "Zombies TC" to the modern Doom sourceports.
Apart from beign pretty much a port of the original, this mod improves on the original version with:
- Completely re-animated weapons
- Several tweaks to the lighting of the maps to improve the mood of them
- All of the Dehacked configuration ported to Decorate, MAPINFO, LANGUAGE, etc.
- Added colission to windows (Doom map format limitation)
- And more! All to bring back this cult classic mod in a faithfull and respectful way to the modern times!
And better of all, is already done!

The first time I played this mod was around 2010 or 2011 and I loved it! Even if it was really buggy at times
One thing that I find aesthetically pleasing and satisfying with this mod, and since you're the author Dude27th, feel free to think of this idea, but I find this mod, well, whenever I play it, just to give it that more Zombies/Horror Kills feeling is the addition of any various gore mods to this. Because whenever I play this mod on GZDoom, and with all that, a good gore mode addon to this mod just makes it better, and just makes it right, in my opinion.
So Dude27th, great mod, and nice that Zombies fanbases aren't dying, and I hope that you take the idea of adding a gore mod to this, as an idea down the line. I would rate your mod as a 4.9 out of 5. The absence of a gore mod to make it better is the only reason it didn't get a 5 out of 5.

This is one of the mods that inspired me to learn about Doom modding so many years ago, and I admit that I didn't played it for years after finishing it.
But after EEE launched I felt like I have to do justice to the original mod considering that EEE was the first exposure for so many people to something with the name of "ZombiesTC"
Oh and about the gore mod, I don't intend to add content with resources outside the mod to "enchance" it based on my personal taste, but I encourage to try as many add-ons as anyone see fits to enjoy it as they want to.
I can't believe I'm seeing this. The doom modding community never lets us down.
