Zombie Panic! Fans:

I'd first like to thank all of you for playing the game. You guys rock, and we appreciate all the support.

Secondly, I'd like to take a moment to give you guys a peek at what we usually do as developers of this fine game. We'll start posting stories every once in a while to sort of entertain you, and to show you guys just how much work we put into this game.

And in this first little story, I'd like to talk about what it was like to be involved in Biotec's development.

When we started initial testing, the keys were actually a keycard, like in the ZPO_Subway. We decided to have a prop modeler create these keys. After fiddling with it for a while, the modeler finally got it done, and compiled it. But when we replaced the model, we suddenly couldn't find the keys. They were impossible to find. We had Pingu wondering if there was a problem with the key location, until someone finally found the keys.

Needless to say, the model was not scaled properly.

Also, we had a bit of a problem getting a finished helicopter model in for the end of ZPO_Biotec. We had a model, but the texture needed some work, and the model was not given to Pingu. So, Pingu got resourceful and used his own helicopter as a placeholder.

And finally, keep your eyes peeled! On December 1st, we will be releasing a minor update. This will include a few fixes for map exploits/issues, fixes for a few gameplay problems, and a few minor update for the zombies. It will also contain the first slew of Donor avatar borders, so everyone can see who has donated!

So Donors, if you are wondering "where is my border?", then fear not. We will be updating the list on the first of every month, and you should see a green border on your scoreboard avatar starting this December!

Thanks,
-Zombie Panic Development Team
