Xtreme Arena is a fast paced mod with more frags than you can shake a BFG at! For the first time, XA brings some of the elements of great tourney mods at an insane pace!
A couple of the stand out features include full lag compensation, alternate fire modes, weapon disabling and even the ability for server admins to rotate maps in tourney mode.

Hey dude, dont trust all those coments, they cant download the game and even worse, 3 of them where created one year ago and guess guat, they all posted here, and guess what, they where never online again.. wich means the mod creater created 3 accounts (and probably the other two ones) and posted here good ****... this mod is also dead and the guy who created it is a son of a bitch...

I'll have to add my .02 cents in on XA. I am hooked on XA mod! With alt. fire for all weapons(gauntlet you are 50% faster-w00t!) just keeps you hooked for hours. You just have to use all weapons, each alt. fire unique from the others. And you gotta luv the homing rockets! This is a MUST HAVE! XA is the best mod that i have found yet. all you instagibbers and rocket freaks download this! you wont be disappointed! :)
I've been playing FPS games including Q1, Q2 and many of the Q3A mods. XA is hands down the BEST mod I've ever played. Worm spent hours and hours of time coding and collecting input from beta testers. The weapons are the most balanced I've ever seen in a Q3 mod. There is no dominate weapon, each weapon is powerful and useful which requires the player to frequently change weapons to get the most frags. Since there's NO DELAY between weapons changes, players are not penalized for using the most appropriate weapon for the situation.
What really makes this mod unique is possibilities you see during game play. Sometimes I've been on a server where everyone is just using rail for fun, the rail is an instagib weapon in XA so you feel like your on an Instagib server. The next map people may let loose with the "wbounce" feature and spew nades and rockets everywhere. Then you can have a mix of "spammers" and "railers" going at it, each getting lots of frags with their own method. However, to be really effective you need to frequently change up your weapons.
There you have the ultimate Q3 mod! You can just have fun and wbounce all night, you can be Joe Accurate and rail, or be the badass constantly switching weapons. What more could a serious Q3 player ask for?
This is THE best quake mod, it is sooo balanced!It has everything you like about each mod in it. The rail of InstaGib the speed of Excessive the best of Rocket Arena and Orange Smoothie all in one. It has many unique features of its own too! Don't worry if you are a vanilla quake kinda guy you will fit right in. This mod takes all the skill you can dish out. You will enjoy it im positive!
