The Xenoforce Reborn mod takes the classic Xenoforce mod from CNC Generals and re-invisions it on the CNC3 engine with new units and new designs. The new armies that are currently scheduled to be in the mod are the Earth Federation, ZEON, the Invid, and the Earth Robotech Defense Force. We also have heavily modified the original CNC3 armies, giving the GDI, NOD, and Scrin a much more dynamic gameplay experience. This mod is NOT FOR PROFIT and NON-commercial based.
The Tenzan that deploys with the 6800W Daughtress's is unique in that the Daughtress's do not actually deploy from the ship. Instead they stay on the bow of the ship and strike from a distance.
Whoa that's cool, so is there any upgrades for the Tenzan ships with turrets instead of Daughtress MS or just garrison it with MS.
At the moment we have no plans of having upgrades for Tenzans. If we did the upgrades would have to be global upgrades that affect all Tenzans. What kind of upgrades were you thinking about?
As for how it works, the Daughtress's are simply attached to the tenzan you don't have to purchase the Daughtress's sepratly they come with the ship. :)
Well, back to previous XR 83a versions, I have seen Tenzans that have equipped with turrets the last time I've seen it. So I could ask that if Tenzens could have different upgrades like one will have an antiaircraft, an anti-ground unit or an anti-infantry.
While it's possible to do what your talking about (very possible) the current design almost does that automatically. The Tenzan you build determins what Daughtress's will be assigned to the ship. As such some Daughtress's are better at some things than others. There are 5 different Tenzans that we plan on having avalible.
1. Daughtress 6800A's that make up the basic troops that the AW uses.
2. Daughtress 6800W's that make up the artillery forces that AW uses.
3. Daughtress 6800C's that make up the elite / detector troops that AW uses.
4. Daughtress 6800's that make up Anti-Air / Anti-Infantry troops that AW uses.
5. Daughtress 6800F's that make up the flight units that AW uses.
Of course you don't have to uses the Tenzans if you don't want to. You can build Gundams. :) After we do some playtesting with this design if we think that the Tenzans need something else to make them more unique/better then your upgrade idea is probably exactly where we will go. But we're trying to make the AW as straight forward as possible with as few 'hoops' for the player to have to jump through to get their forces where they want them.
Well this one should be useful if a player decided to build or not. I'll accept this idea. :)
