Wibbletron : Genesis mod for Half-Life

"After the events of Black Mesa, Gordon Freeman went on to work for the GMan and his "top secret" organisation. Gordon was always suspicious of what was happening in the organisation, encounters with xen creatures at work were common place.

Now Gordon has been sent to the Kelvo 9 research center to investigate reports of a device known as the wibbletron, which alledgedly has the power to open a huge whole into xen. If the reports are true he is to "secure" the blueprints to the device and get out of there......

Rumours are also circulationg about Barney Calhoun, and whether he did die at Black Mesa as was reported. He and his organisation have been linked to several terrorist style attacks on the Kelvo 9 Research center, alledgedly trying to destroy the wibbletron.

Gordons orders are simple, get in, get the blueprints, get out. He is to kill anyone who gets in the way, and bring Barney Calhoun in for questioning if he comes across him."

The player once again plays as Gordon Freeman in our version of the Half-Life story, you will come across many familiar faces, and places. Gordon will be torn between two sides, that of and Barney, and the other, the GMan. Why does one want to destroy it, whilst the other wants to utilise it to fight xen? All the answers to this will be discovered in the prologue to the up and coming Half-Life 2 mod, Wibbletron 9000.
