Now that CQM 3.1 is released, efforts can be refocused towards a solid version 4.0. We have big plans for the next major version of the mod, and it's time to talk a little bit about what that will look like.
The next version of Clan Quest Mod, which we've already been working on, will feature a story line involving the possibility of rejecting the Camarilla and instead joining the Sabbat. When the player first encounters the Sabbat Archbishop the story will take an entirely different direction involving a Sabbat plot to overthrow the Kuei-Jin, Camarilla and Anarchs in Los Angeles. This will add an entirely new chapter to the game, including a fifth hub - a Latino barrio, very loosely based on some spurious comments from the original developers of the game. The main themes of this new addendum will be concepts of both loyalty and betrayal. This new hub will be populated with a variety of new NPCs, giving a peek into the clans of the Sabbat, including Camarilla and Independent clans' antitribu.
The new hub and content will not be "cut-off" from Camarilla players as they will still be able to explore that aspect of the story as a sort of "mole".
As this project is an ambitious undertaking, there is no projected release date as of yet, but the current target is March 2016. More news and updates will be forthcoming as they develop. Stay tuned for more news, here on moddb.com!

Seems awesome :) Will there be new quests other than this story line, just like the ones in the previous patch, or will it just focus on Sabbat?
My goal is to keep the existing new content as in-tact as possible, but the new storyline will BE the new quests =)
I was wondering, what were these 'spurious comments' from the developers on the latino hub exactly? All I know about that latino hub is that it was planned, and there was a music track made for it. The one thing I heard is that Nines would have gone there and hide from the blood hunt. Was that from an 'official' source?

with the new unoffical patch 9.4. Imma stop playing the game and wait for your 4.0 CQM .Ilove your works :). I wouldnt want to miss every additional contents for this game .

Hey guys, i just want to thank you for keeping this game alive! i must've played through it like 8 times by now, but i still love it, thank you fir all your hard work! it really broke my heart when i read that this franchise is "dead"..
While I'd like the opportunity to join the Sabbat, they seem the sort to just betray me at the end, ling that witch in Chinatown... I'm not sure I'd enjoy that so much a second time.

I tweeted the CQM account for info and they said it's ok, Burgermeister is simply busy and since he works on it in his spare time it's taking a bit longer.

@burgermeister01 I do hope you are able to complete this because I LOVE the Clan Quest Mod (That was my second play-through and it was AWESOME as a Malkavian)
