Hello so I'm still getting "End of the Reconquista" after doing the decision "restore order to Brazil" am I doing something wrong? Brazil is in my sphere, its my puppet, all the conditions are met i'm just confused

The "Restore Order to Brazil" decision turns a Brazilian country that is your puppet or in your sphere into an Autonomous Dependency and causes some of its POPs to start migrating to Portugal. This decision does NOT annex Brazil, you must either own all Brazilian cores or have all Brazilian cores owned by your puppets if you want annex Brazil. The decision to annex Brazil is "Restore the United Kingdom of Portugal and Brazil". If Brazil or Portugal falls to rebels, Brazil becomes a GP, or another nation frees Brazil from Portugal, then you will get the "End of the Reconquista" event which turns Brazil into a different government type, stops migration from Brazil to Portugal, and disables the "Restore the United Kingdom of Portugal and Brazil" decision.

I click the decision and make it a puppet. then few days after clicking it I get end of Reconquista. it does not remove me as puppet master but if it is as you say "end of Reconquista " stops "restore the united kingdom of Portugal and brazil" then I can no longer do Portugal brazil because end of Reconquista just stops me immediately after making brazil my puppet. does that make sense?

You were right, there is a bug when you enact "Restore Order to Brazil" if Brazil is not already your puppet. This will be fixed in the next version. In the meantime, the "Restore Order to Brazil" decision will still work in 0.63b as long as you puppet Brazil via war before enacting the decision.

Hey mate, So I noticed.. your assimilation isnt.. included in the game. You literally cant make any use of assimilation modifiers because it simply doesnt exist. You cannot assimilate in this mod.

Ok so, I fixed the problem with assimilation. You forgot to close emigration chance = { in poptypes. now it works properly again. You are welcome.

Can you post fixed poptypes.txt code here?

I'm comparing 062 and 063b poptypes.txt and i'm unable to find that specific code, maybe it was also broken in 062? Or I'm just blind :)

Are you sure this bug occurred in 0.63b? I'm looking at the poptypes file and emigration isn't missing any closing brackets. I've also played a few MP games with this version and seen assimilation working correctly. Can you post a save and show an example of a POP in a specific province that isn't assimilating when it fulfills some of the conditions?

When i westernized Japan i couldnt use anymore province selection, while tech is already reserched.

This is due to a bug in the base game that glitches inventions upon civilizing. There is unfortunately no way for me to fix this in the mod, however you can manually fix the bug by saving the game and reloading the savefile.
