The vanilla (original) Panzer IV in this game was based on the late-war version (possibly either Ausf.H or J), and not to mention the 'Spaced armor' around the turret that was started to use in 1943. So it's still anachronistic for the Stalingrad mission alright, but it's surely better than the King Tiger's wreckage props in the vanilla version.
