"These are the darkest days of the Nazi occupation of Stalingrad." - Viktor Reznov, 1942. This mod was created for a better authentic experience in playing the Vendetta mission. Please read the instruction carefully to install the mod, and we recommend playing with the OFFICIAL versions would be a suitable choice to prevent any further technical issues.

Description

A new set of textures for Vendetta mod. Here are two new posters made by PanzerMan for better storytelling and historical accuracy.

New details for them:

1) The first poster - "The spirit of the great Lenin and his victorious banner now inspire us for the Patriotic War just as they did 23 years ago" poster since it also features Vladimir Lenin but with much better details and makes more sense than the vanilla one in general. Below is written: “Who can deny that our Red Army has more than once turned the vaunted German troops into panic flight?”

2) The Univermag department store's advertisement - This is originally taken from the (present days) Volgograd Museum, which is located in the same Department Store where the headquarters of the 6th Army of Paulus once was. However, the department store was replaced by a fictional "sniper building" in the game for no particular reason. Luckily, this building was finally featured in the first Stalingrad mission of COD Vanguard, along with the generally better portrayal of the Square of Fallen Fighters (although it misses the flagpoles). As for the WaW version, unfortunately, I regret to say it's one of the worst portrayals I've ever seen for the square and surrounding areas.
