This is a modification of Mount and Blade: Warband - Viking Conquest. Modified every tunic, light and heavy armour (except female dress and robes). Hello vagn, how did you change the animation of the two handed axe (which you can also can obtain at the troll's bridge)?
It uses for swings, blocks and stances the polearm animation (with exception for overhead swing and normal stance, holding the weapon ready and standing still), which I find more accurate. I would like to incorporate it into my own viking conquest module, how do I do that? Changed already the model with openBrf.
Answer would be most appreciated :)

Hi,
As far as I remember you need to edit the following brf files:
ani_man_walk
ani_run_p
Just change the greatsword animations to staff animations

Well, your tip would work if wanted to change the animations for all two-handed weapons. But I want to change only the animation for the Dane Axe, not for the goidelic champion sword etc. You did this in your mod (other two handed weapons have normal two-handed animation)
Do I have to go to item_kinds1.txt or actions.txt?
Sorry to bother you with this

I think that those two goidelic swords are set as two-handed / one-handed and that is why the animation didn`t change.
Oh and the animations in files uni_stances and uni_sideways has been changed. But you are right this would effect all two handed weapons.

It worked out, first I changed the two-handed/greatsword animation to the coresponding staff animation in the following brfs:
ani_man_walk.brf
ani_run_p.brf
ani_run_sideways.brf
ani_turn_man.brf
ani_walk_sideways.brf
uni_sideways.brf
uni_stances.brf
Then to change attack and block animation, I went to item_kinds1.txt, in the "Dane_Axe" entry and changed the 16th number (counting from right) to the one which is used in Native for the Long War Axe (primary weapon mode, which is used as polearm). Looked realy good, just gave a damage value for the now included trust-animation (chose 10 piercing damage, the "axe-horn" (sharp tip at the upper end of the axeblade) was very sharp and could be used for such stabbing attacks.

Some of the textures arent loading in properly. everything works fine its just that some outfits are see through or turn blank white. Any idea what I should do? i love how this mod looks btw

Did you make any changes in the item_kind1.txt file? Can you specify exactly which items are bugged, so I can have a look.
