If you've played my critically acclaimed GMDX mod for Deus Ex you know what to expect; Expect tighter overall design through polished and enhanced weaponry/gunplay, smarter artificial intelligence and refined enemy placement, Enhanced Artistic Direction (new textures, effects, level details), tightened balance and resource distribution, new player mechanics, an engaging challenge (of course based on the difficulty mode you pick), enhanced replayability, minor audio upgrades, a handful of bugfixes, better bossfights, level design with more to offer without being obviously different, and more...The majority of features are intended to enhance the overall experience yet retain the original spirit and concepts: Unreal but better.

Epic! Unreal Gold is a gem that is overshadowed, unfortunately, by Unreal Tournament. It's a classic that every fps gamer needs to play.

It's not though :/ Like with GMDX, it's typically about subtle, faithful improvements, so it may be hard to tell at times.
Anyhow, while this is in part a graphics and art direction mod, roughly 75% of the focus is on the gameplay. That you will notice.
