I wonder if she's going to be a seperate hero/sub commnander within the Witch Hunters or if she can be recruited within the Scions unit.

Within the Witch Hunters faction, you need to build the Ordo Hereticus Chamber and the unit should show up there. It will need to be 'researched', but it's supposed to show the unit card regardless.
no it doesn't, i think it depends on some maps or factions for example if you fight 13th company with world eater you will get Chaos space wolves units
Dumb question, but do you have the latest installment of the mod? Because for me the Scions appear and I can use them. Although, and I might be wrong in this case, but their 'existence' MAY be tied to the Easter Egg check box in 'Game Options', like the limit of units and such. There is supposed to be a modifier for the Witch Hunters, which could be the answer. Again, I'm not sure, but they are not that hidden.

I'm not going to say it worked against everyone, because I used the Witch Hunters only a few times, but if I remember correctly, I played against Mechanicus and I guess Chaos.
But you know what, I just go ahead and see for myself. I'll be reply in an edit shortly.
EDIT: 'kay, so I went a match against the Eldar while turning off the all squad option in 'Game Options' and the Scions were still there. Sooo...yeah. It seems I can't be of help anymore in this matter. The only thing that still MIGHT have to do with the Scions appearing in game is the mod addon which allows you to have limitless amount of special squad (like for Death Korps, instead of being able to have only two grenadiers at max, know you can have an army of them). I suggest cruising through the web, instead of here, or maybe search the comments on the firstly posted Scions picture for the mod. Hope you'll find answers.
turning off the all squad option ? so i closed them all and i couldn't find it and there was nothing in the comments on the sicons pictures anyway thanks for the help dude
