This is everything I ever wanted! Elysians are amazing, and I can finally put together a real guard airborne regiment that I always wanted
I'm speechless, enjoyed every single second of it! The lascutter functions and fires exactly how i imagined. i'm guessing it's going to be quite adept at taking down structures and even heavy infantry since the beam is hot enough to melt through ceramite in seconds.
So does this mark the end of Imperial Guard content for 1.9 or is there still more to come? If so i would really appreciate seeing more artillery pieces, the wyvern suppression tank and colossus bombard in particular. Wyvern uses the same design and systems as a hydra, so that thing wouldn't be that hard to make. The colossus is tricky since it would require a unique crane reloading animation.

As for the IG,for now,only the Deathstrike Missile rework/remaster remains that I am working on.We are not planning to add any more stuff to them.
Especially more artillery pieces.
We already have the Basilisk,Medusa and the Griffon.Not to mention the Platforms and mortars for the heavy teams.
Anything more will be just superfluous and not worth the effort.
Kekoulis Oh the griffon is actually getting added back in the game? If that's the case then yeah there's no need for a wyvern and i realize we already have the medusa for structure busting work.
Looking forward to seeing the new re-worked Deathstrike. If only the deathstrike could gain the ability to fire vortex missiles as a new end-game superweapon. That would be a fittingly awesome end to the new array of content for the IG. If that's a part of the remaster, please don't spoil me. :P

I gotta ask, are they going to be recruited from the barracks or air tower? also, are they going to be a part of the infantry doctrine, air doctrine, or doctrineless?
My personal input would be air tower with air doctrine, since they are drop troopers after all.
No matter what it ends up being though, that landing was smooth as hell!
