I've found some spare time today as well and thought that i could texture the Necron Sentry Pylon! Eventhough i've only used pre made textures it turned out pretty well, yay! I haven't modelled any alternative weapon loadouts yet but now that it's already textured it should be easier to do then.

...hmmm...great model but texture needs to be more obsidian like (think necron environment and monolith ) to give it justice.
you should take the texture base of the necron_pillar.rgd environment model and build upon it. a good specular map en self illumination necron glyph would add a threatening look to it, this is missing somehow in the current texturing.

spectacular! a fine addition to the ranks of the soulless soldiers although I agree with the emperor in a kind of way I don't think it needs more gems i think the parts in the center of the what seems to be a barrel need to glow a little bit not to much that can't see the actual gun but just enough so that you can see the little indents now that would be cool and when it fires arcs of electricity come from the 4... i'm gonna call them arms

These are way better graphics than the vanilla, I hope it doesn't require more ram to process though else I'm screwed, but gods it's a thing of marvelous beauty, AMAZING job UA team!!
