Description
A brood of hormagaunts slam into the beleaguered
Imperial Guard lines

HOLD THE LINES MEN! a desperate imperial guard captain shouts over the screams of the tryanid creatures.
The chatter of gunfire sounded as the guardsmen fire at the oncoming beasts but their thick carapaces deflect the lassgun fire with ease.
A wave of panic shot through the ranks as the hormagaunts broke throught the front lines, killing three of the squad. their dying screams could be heard through the intercoms of the imperial gaurds men. DO NOT LET THEM WIN! STAND YOUR GROUND FOR THE EMPEROR! a priest cries swinging his massive chainsaw as the approching enimies.
The blood stricken face of a young imperial guardsman appeared by the captains side. "its no good sir! we cant hold them!" as the last of the men around him were cut down by the hormagaunts bone hard sything arms the captain summoned all his strenth and charged into battle, running into a the group of gaunts. he took two of them down but a third lept into the air behind him. he turned just in time to see the screaming mass of teeth and claws baring down upon him. for a moment time stood still as he stared into the creatures dark, soul-less eyes. and then with a stabbing of blades, the momment passed.....
