I like the whole idea of upgrading, but there is some trouble: It's generally a time consuming action. Every action must be preformed twice to build an upgraded turret.

Would it be possible to make the upgrade-building cost no time, so that you can instantly place a turret. Select the upgrade (and pay for it) and then place it on location. This would make the action of placing an upgraded turret easier, because it can be done at once.

Other then that, the turrets have a lot of nice detail and I would like to see them in action.

I don't understand what you mean when you say that it must be "performed twice". Vulcan, RPG and Gatling towers can all be placed instantly without having to upgrade them with a weapon (cause I and everybody else hated component towers with a passion) and the upgrade can be placed on a tower of choice which means the action is only performed once, right?

Whilst I have thought about making the upgraded tower a specific structure, I prefer it this way. It's hardly any more time consuming than what component towers used to be since the base structure for the upgrades instantly receives a weapon.

trust me, everyone preferes it they way you have done it man, and i can easily say i am speeking for everyone who has played tiberian sun as them god damd component towers made building up a quick defence for GDI nearly impossible, and you could rush a GDI base.

On another note have you set multiple levels of AI difficulty, and if so could you keep the difficulty of the current AI as a hard level as i liked it but some of my peers couldnt win, even i had troubles at first.

The AI has been drastically altered for Public Beta 4, no more impossible easy, medium or hard AI's.
It is still under a lot of construction, but it's definitely much better than it has been in the previous betas, I'm certain you and everybody else will prefer the newest AI over all other attempts.

I like them how they are, you can add cameo text by choice in-game.

I doubt it. That's a problem that's been in TS since as long as I can remember.
