I mean you have to admit, the proportion of some of the vehicles is just really weird. Like, why do Repair Vehicles need to be so gigantic? Why is virtually everything bigger then an MCV, which unpacks into a structure?

But some of them make sense normally, and now with this they don't! Armadillo APCs make sense to be big because they carry up to 10 infantry. And you're not even changing one of the more important things, the Chinooks (Or at least they're not in that gif image). Those things are bigger then the Mammoth MK II! Why do they need to be that big?

Don't worry though, I'm mainly just picking at you guys with this. I'm mostly okay with the vehicles normally, and this doesn't really change my opinion of them. xP

I don't understand why large vehicles are any different to the huge infantry that Tiberian Sun had, which some people seemed to like, yet, in some cases vehicles are different and I don't see why myself. Personally, I definitely prefer larger vehicles.

Repair Vehicles would need to be large to be able to repair such large vehicles like the Mammoth, Goliaths, Walkers, SSM's, Venoms, Aircraft etc. no? And things are bigger than the MCV because the MCV isn't anywhere near using a final design? I thought THAT much was already obvious.

Armadillo APC is scheduled for a redesign, so are the Kazuars and the MLRS Walkers. The reason we're "not changing" the Chinooks is because they have already been rescaled in a previous update, along with the Dawn ORCA and a few other vehicles.

Read the changelog before commenting, please, it is right there:

"PB5.019

- Rescaled Twisted Dawn GDI Chinook
- Rescaled Twisted Dawn Nod Chinook"

I often post about this, At least you guys took the time and effort into implementing something that irked a few people.

Thanks, I hope it wasnt something that was too difficult to get in the game.

Nah, it wasn't difficult, just somewhat tedious and boring, but I'm glad that there will be some people out there that apprecaite it.

Some of us like having a more viable scale, im not a fan of the old clown car vehicles. (Epic units like the mammoth i can understand being shrunk though)

Might there be a "bigger infantry graphics" option in the future? I really like the infantry scale in original TS.

I really like the current vehicle scale, it makes much more sense than TS's weenie little tanks. Also nice to hear the Kaz' is due for a redesign. It really doesn't fit with the rest of the pack: the color and shape are just waaaaaay off. Might want to think about darkening the color on the Scatterpack as well, just for the sake of consistancy.

Wow, you TI guys are making really incredible things with Tiberium Sun engine!

Now, if you only made an option for bigger infantry sprites please...
TI and other mods are so difficult to play on a 14'' laptop display due to everything being soooo tiny. T_T

I actually like when vehicles are big. It makes easier to see what do you have and what your are fighting against. But it is me so...

For me, the only issue isn't about the size of the vehicle graphics but rather the fact that promotion icons and health bars are overlapped by those graphics. I wonder, is there any way to keep those information upfront, so that I always know about the health status of my vehicles / about their promotion status?

Say,does this option increase the game's performance(less lag)?

Most likely minimal if any. TI is far more optimized already than original TS was ever on various systems.

I kinda like it. Although I never asked for it, the new smaller graphics fit quite well. Thanks for providing the option.

Description

While not a popular demand, there has been feedback recently, and in the past, that the current scale of our ground vehicles are too large for the tastes of some players.

In an attempt to appeal to those of you that have complained about the unit scale in the past, we have thrown together this new feature that will allow the people whom prefer the vehicles to be of a smaller scale more confined to the games cell size to have what they desire as an alternative to our default scale. This option will not effect the gameplay in any way and you will be completely compatible online with other players not making use of the feature; It is simply a graphical option that can be turned on or off at your demand.

This option is available in PB5.030 which was uploaded today! For a comparison of some of the vehicles that will be effected by the graphical option, check out this image: Ppmsite.com

Please note that the larger scale is the default scale, and this will be the case for the rest of the mods development. Is this not to your taste? Simply check the new option!

PB5.030 Changelog: Ti.ppmsite.com

Enjoy!
