Assume command as the ambitious Hierarchy, the robotic Novus, the mysterious Masari, or the desperate humans in this mod inspired by the game Universe at War by SEGA and Petroglyph. New gameplay mechanics, new units, and an exciting campaign bring the war to life with additional factions to add to the chaos. So what will you do? Conquer, or survive? All models added in this mod are property of SEGA or Petroglyph, used with permission of their respective creators, or were made by the developers of Triumph of the Hierarchy. Permission was recieved from Petroglyph and SEGA prior to the start of work on the mod.
Holybeast and me (nightovizard) did different A-12 versions, We didnt know which one to use, so we have decided to upload 2 screenshots of each model and let the community decide. Which one you prefer?
The textures i made are just placeholders since im pretty bad at texturing. hope that a texturer artist will appear.
I would say the top one since it really shows the evolution from the A-10 to the A-12.
Which one do you prefer? think that you can suggest combinations of both if you want. What would be the best for you?
the top one
Yea top one, bottom one looks odd with those big engines at front.
I concur, top one is best in my opinion
I agree I prefer the looks of the top craft's fuselage and tail structure, but I do like the bottom's wings and weapons load-out (though I'm undecided on the nose cannon; the top's single cannon might be better as a rotary cannon, but maybe the bottom's two cannons could be belt-fed rocket assisted auto-cannons on a swivel turret?).
For clarification, in the previous image when it is stated that this will be the human's ground combat jet, is this to mean that it is purely an atmospheric based craft? Or might this unit possess the means to be used in space?
If this is a pure atmospheric craft then I am of the opinion the top render's engines would suffice. If this craft might also be used in space as well however then I am of the opinion that the bottom render's engines would be more aesthetically pleasing (and possibly "realistic"). [Though to me the bottom render's tail engines could be mounted in the same manner as the top's, while the bottom's wing engines could be made slightly smaller/ pulled in closer to the center of the render.]
Atmospheric. The Maverick from UaW will be used in space.
and as a tactical support aid (Carpet bombing).
The top one.
Well, looks like we have a winner :)
